  1. Hi guys, Well today was a sad day, but also a great day - which way you look at it. I will be saying goodbye to Frankie in a mater of weeks I have placed an order for a.... Seat Leon 1.4 EcoTSI 150 FR that is at a port somewhere will be paying less a month based on 0% Apr not to be sniffed at and good PX in the end, the wonders of walking away ;) Also insurance is roughly the same - give or take a few pounds more a month So I would like to thank everyone on here for your opinions et all Chris
  2. Ok thanks for the advice!!
  3. Yeah, don't really want to pull the door apart really, think they would look the bees knees in the mirrors ;)
  4. EBay item, 171675784329, just realised it says for doors, but can be used for mirrors!! Cheers
  5. Well I bought (still waiting) a ford logo puddle light for the door mirrors, and wanted some advice on fitting them. What do I need and is it a 'straight swap' ? It's a mk7.5 Thanks!!
  6. Hi, so I did have some LED Fog lights for my car, but not sure if I left them in my last car (nearly 2 years ago) So my point is what do you recommend and also what's the 'law' on them as they are from memory quite a bit brighter, like the LED strip I put in the rear plate, which is blindingly bright!! Thanks!!
  7. Happy Birthday Ecoboost125!

  8. I think the renault system is better, as you walk away from the car it kicks, you don't have to press a button on the handle. I just think if they cant improve the security then they should revert to a normal key, Am I right by saying though that the fiesta is harder to hotwire than a car with normal ignition etc??
  9. Also I should add I drove only up my road and not on busy road and would never do!!
  10. Thanks for comments, I am not saying that I do it, just with all the security surrounding keyless systems at the moment, like on Watchdog etc also I just think it's a security fault, as you do hear people leaving their cars when it's cold with their keys in, but I would have thought maybe that there should be some sort of sensor or something to stop the car being driven too car from the key, I was also unaware of the "quitting" so thank you for informing.
  11. Hey Well I thought I would do a little experiment as keyless is in the news at the moment for not being very secure. So scenario main key clutch and press button like normal went and got spare key. Left both keys where I knew where they were outside somewhere together. Then moment of truth, let's go for a drive truly keyless, well apart from a warning message saying key outside car, it worked, I only went mile - mile and a half. But what if one cold morning I went to the car, heater on then went in to house with key, engine running, thief simply gets in car and drives off???? I will add also I read about a lady BMW driver locking her car whilst engine on, you cannot lock the fiesta when the engine is running. So basically who and how should I escalate this to Ford??? Many thanks Chris
  12. Hi I have a 2014 Titanium X with the Sony Nav, my question is 1 what is the specification of the stereo & 2 what would be the best speakers to upgrade to and being on a PCP would it be worth it or not especially if I am not going to keep it??? Also is it easy to take the speaker grills off?? Thanks
  13. Dont know just a suggestion:)
  14. Or could you not go for the normal 1.0 non ecoboost 80bhp version best of both worlds no??
  15. Do you have any pics of these in action?? Cheers!!!
