  1. Cheers Jeebo, Tony eat your Hart out lol. Yip a bit more chrome emphasising the F and it's a 21st century logo for hi tech cars. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  2. This is my shoddy effort at how the badge could look by having just the letter "F". If the brand is big enough, people will know what it is without seeing the full name I.e Nike. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  3. My point exactly, ford are bringing out some lovely cutting edge designs, with badges that are unchanged from 2003. Def a need to crisp it up..ie Citroen etc Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  4. Thank fck PC Plum has retired... Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  5. I think its the actual font on "Ford" word that makes it look old fashioned. Its been the same since 1912! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
  6. Didn't know that..Mazda also did a good job. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
  7. Is it time for Ford to modernise the oval badge and bring it into the 21st century. .have other manufacturers done this successfully? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

I also was expecting around 55mpg on a long journey Alex, i think I definitely need to take it in and get checked over. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Managed to get up to 46mpg yesterday enroute to Newcastle, sitting at a measly 65-72 mph right enough to attain this figure.... Driving miss Daisy! Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Great info guys thanks. What's got me thinking is that the car was recalled last week so ford could reset the "miles to empty" trip computer software. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Thanks mate, ill def give the dealership a call, I assume that sort of thing needs to be done by them. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

Hi all... MPG update after almost 8000 miles. Did a 400 mile round trip to Leeds last week, at a steady 72mph. Staggeringly, the MPG dipped to 38.5! Just a wee bit off the Ford published 61.3mpg extra urban stats. :-/ Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

45.6 was the best I could get, but it entailed taping an egg to the sole of my shoe and pressing the accelerator so lightly without breaking it! It's impossible to drive like this all the time, nor would I want to. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

No I've not thought about that one mate. I wouldn't mind if it was just a few miles off the printed figures but it think it's taking the !Removed! when they publish 44.8 urban, 60.1 extra urban and 53.3 combined. It's a company car so I'll take it into the dealership to do it. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
