  1. The Ford Badge

Is it time for Ford to modernise the oval badge and bring it into the 21st century. .have other manufacturers done this successfully? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
  2. The Ford Badge

Cheers Jeebo, Tony eat your Hart out lol. Yip a bit more chrome emphasising the F and it's a 21st century logo for hi tech cars. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  3. The Ford Badge

This is my shoddy effort at how the badge could look by having just the letter "F". If the brand is big enough, people will know what it is without seeing the full name I.e Nike. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  4. The Ford Badge

My point exactly, ford are bringing out some lovely cutting edge designs, with badges that are unchanged from 2003. Def a need to crisp it up..ie Citroen etc Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Thank fck PC Plum has retired... Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

I think its the actual font on "Ford" word that makes it look old fashioned. Its been the same since 1912! Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

Didn't know that..Mazda also did a good job. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

Hi all, great to be amongst people of individual taste who don't succumb to the 3 big Germans! I recently took delivery of my Kuga Titanium X 2WD 2013 140 ps diesel, with lots of toys, and I have to say I'm absolutely delighted. Only gripe is massive disappointment in the MPG, I'm way off the figures advertised, I'm lucky if I get 37mpg in town and 43 on a long motorway run. I wrote to Ford but the silence was deafening. Anyone else experienced this?

I also was expecting around 55mpg on a long journey Alex, i think I definitely need to take it in and get checked over. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Managed to get up to 46mpg yesterday enroute to Newcastle, sitting at a measly 65-72 mph right enough to attain this figure.... Driving miss Daisy! Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Great info guys thanks. What's got me thinking is that the car was recalled last week so ford could reset the "miles to empty" trip computer software. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

Thanks mate, ill def give the dealership a call, I assume that sort of thing needs to be done by them. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app

Hi all... MPG update after almost 8000 miles. Did a 400 mile round trip to Leeds last week, at a steady 72mph. Staggeringly, the MPG dipped to 38.5! Just a wee bit off the Ford published 61.3mpg extra urban stats. :-/ Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

45.6 was the best I could get, but it entailed taping an egg to the sole of my shoe and pressing the accelerator so lightly without breaking it! It's impossible to drive like this all the time, nor would I want to. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  16. Mpg

No I've not thought about that one mate. I wouldn't mind if it was just a few miles off the printed figures but it think it's taking the !Removed! when they publish 44.8 urban, 60.1 extra urban and 53.3 combined. It's a company car so I'll take it into the dealership to do it. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC

MPG update at 5000, still rubbish. Averaging 40.3 mpg which is worse than my petrol TT! This car is costing me a fortune in business mileage. Very disappointed and bordering on misinformation on Ford part. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  19. Front wipers have a mind of their own!

Hi guys sorry for intruding on this topic, for some reason I'm unable to put a new topic on (this site is very poor). The wipers on my kuga Tx 2013 hit each other when on mid-full speed, very irritating ! And I'm concerned that it will eventually damage the workings..
  20. hello kuga owners

Easy when you know how! Tried it today and it came off ok. Happy days, masses of space in the back now. However I have just purchased a set of proper roof bike carriers. :D Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
  21. hello kuga owners

Cheers for that MD, I'll give it a try. Is this your first Kuga? Great car
  22. hello kuga owners

Hey guys, kuga Titanium x owner 2013 model.. Does anyone know how I take off the metal parcel shelf bar? I need to do this so I can get 2 bikes in the back. It seems solid and I don't want to force it. Cheers Bill

Ye she's still an infant Jeebo lol
  24. Mpg

Yip that seems to be the advice James! Just need to do more miles then! :)
  25. Mpg

Hi guys, thanks for response. Ive only done 4000 miles so you're probably right about the engine needing run in. I'll keep my eye on it. :)
