  1. Just trying to change the axillary /fan / alternator belt on a 54 reg focus (new shape) Saw someone do it before without anytools, in and out in no time Anyone have the best way to do it ? Thanks !
  2. The reverse light will not work at all. The fog will work depending on what way you hit the bumper. Im back onto the ins company but not happy to use their same repairer again as they are wrong on what they say is wrong. Gonna push them to bring it to a ford main dealer. I dont really care if the body repairer gets paid or not for the work. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  3. It see as a bit too much of a coincidence alright. I wouldnt know how to get to that earthing point tbh. The accident itself wasnt the worst..... car came out with some scratches on the bumper only but the repair guys took it off to respray and put on new plastic mouldings. So all the rear bumper etc was off. if I am to check that myself how would I do it ? Or should I call the insurance company tomorrow and get them to book it in with ford since the repair guys havent got a clue ? thanks for the reply ! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  4. Hi lads ! I noticed recently that my reverse light was not working. Then discovered my fog light works sometimes at the rear depending on where you hit the bumper. I replaced the reverse light switch to no joy. Bulbs and holders are fine ! I was hit from behind recently (same time these stopped working right) so I think most likely from the accident but the garage that did the repairs say the wiring etc is fine and the reverse light switch needed to be replaced and the fog was just a bulb.... both not the case. Anyone know what the problem might be ? I didnt change the switch myself thanks to a very helpful guide on here but I dont know whats wrong now. Cheers all ! 5. Engine System Fault

its the hard plastic part just to the right of the coolant bottle there seems to be a rubber seal broken apart in it and it seems to be shooting oil out across to the head sheild. part highlighted where oil is coming from What does this do and could it also be the problem of underboost ?
  6. Engine System Fault

Might have another result ... The lads did the glow plugs and tensioner for the cam chain for me and a damn good job at that ! but they also cleaned the engine for me cos their was oil everywhere. took it on a motorway for an hour and found the leak location ! (not my pic) but coming from the black square / circular part in the middle of this picture. connected to the intercooler. could this leak also be the cause of the underboosting ? the oil leak is actually shooting across to the heat shield near the turbo as if its being pressured out.
  7. Engine System Fault

I will check this ! Your great help I have to say lads ! Really appreciated :) Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  8. Engine System Fault

It was changed a few thousand miles ago, less than 3 months. But I'll see if the filter is very dirty or a blockage . Any tips further on underboost ? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  9. Engine System Fault

New glow plugs fitted and fuel filter and no problem so far. What causes underboost ? Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  10. Engine System Fault

Yeah I knew that already about them anyway. Pain in the !Removed! alright Hopefully it wont be too hard to do anyway for the guys. If these 2 things together dont solve the issue of starting and cutting out then next step is a new fuel pump Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  11. Engine System Fault

35 for the diagnostic and then 40 for the filter supply and fitted Price for the glow plugs depends on how easy they are and if they break ! Sent from my GT-I9505 using Ford OC mobile app
  12. Engine System Fault

  14. Engine System Fault

Very good point there I have let it run low a few times while driving I'll change the filter again just to be sure to be sure and also I'll make sure its bled properly... so that it doesnt get air locked or the likes. I'll also keep the fuel level over 1/4 min aswell as not to risk sucking air or sludge. I'll do this and also check again for air leaks on the manifolds etc. Thanks for all the help so far !
