  1. Thanks mate. I'm glad you've said that as I've just ordered a climate control from ebay from a 2011 ST that was breaking. This part number ends CK, so I'll let you know how I get on. Much cheaper that Ford I can tell you. Ford wanted £369 for the climate control and £280 for the carbon radio surround. Ive just ordered both from ebay for £150 Sent from my GT-I9300 using Ford OC mobile app
  2. Jw, I have been looking for the climate control panels and Ford state the part number for mine is 7M5T18C612CD, but I have also seen many parts with the number 7M5T18C612CE. They look identical. Do you know what (if any) difference there is. Would both parts fit my 2008 ST? Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  3. That's great news, thanks. I don't have bluetooth on my unit so it would have probably cost me an arm and a leg getting that installed, so I thought I may as well look into changing the whole thing and upgrade to a quality after market screen. I might look around to see if I can find an ST that is breaking anywhere as I might be able to pick up the climate and the centre console all together a little cheaper. Thanks mate. 4. Hi guys, I have the touchscreen nx nav unit with the climate built in. I'm not too impressed with the audio and nav so would like to fit an after market screen, but to do that I would need to change the dash section (easy enough), and then fit the stand alone digital climate controls. Does anyone know if the standard digital climate control unit has the same connections as from the back of the NX unit, and would it basically be just a case of the new dashboard and the new climate control unit? Has anyone any idea how much the climate control units are from Ford, as I cannot find one online, or on eBay.
  5. My unit definitely has a mic as it does respond to voice commands. Would this mean I wouldn't need the Mic patch cable? Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  6. Yeah I do. It is the sat nav unit with the climate built in. I'm sure it is called the NX unit. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  7. Thanks guys. Do you think that if I find that the bluetooth loom is in place already, would you expect the mic loop and audio loop to also be there? Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  8. Thanks mate. I can't see your post, any chance you can take some screen shots and add them as pictures. Anyway, if I do not have any wiring loom or anything, would I be correct in thinking that all I need is 1. The BT module 2. The wiring loom that plugs into the module and the head unit loom (is this just one single loom? As I have seen people mention some loop connections) 3. Microphone. Sent from my iPad using Ford OC
  9. Hi guys, I'm a complete Newbie on here. Anyway, I recently purchased a 2008 ST3, with the NX sat nav touchscreen head unit, but there also seems to be not bluetooth. My steering wheel stalk has the voice button, but definitely no bluetooth. The ford etis site also confirms this. I have been scanning the net for ways to install a module, including this thread. As yet I have not checked to see if I have the loom or mic, so I have to assume that I don't at present. Anyway, I went into my local Ford dealership today and I was told by both the parts and the service desk that 'if the bluetooth was not fitted in the factory then it cannot be fitted after'. They told me there were no parts that I could purchase, then proceeded to recommend a Parrot. Can anyone advise on this as looking at what some of you guys are saying it looks like my dealership are talking rubbish. If I got all the parts, would my head unit still not work because of not being factory enabled for bluetooth maybe. Please please help me understand how this works.
