Hi...I'm after replacing the injector seals and oil seals on my 1.6 tdci focus after oil started pooling around the injectors... Everything was done perfectly ! On close inspection afterwards I noticed that the oil is seeping from the injector bolts ! ? They were not over tightened . I know that these bolts can be threaded out from the block but I can't explain why there would be oil coming from here ??? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks ! Thanks for the reply .. Ya I'm positive its oil. There was no chuffing when I noticed the leak and the injectors had no trace of carbon when I pulled them out. On close inspection it still seems to be the oil seal that is not doing it's job ! Is it possible for oil to escape from the injector bolts ? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
Hi I have a 05 focus 1.6 tdci and it has developed an oil leak around the injectors. I have changed the injector seals and the oil seals on the four injectors but there still seems to be a leak .. Any advice would be appreciated thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
