  1. Over a year since for me and I've just been driving around without a grille on then use a flat blade screw driver to open. Could never get the white cross to stay connected whilst I reassembled the grille so left it off. Still got the lock in my door pocket :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I use that purple meguires stuff. Good results that last!
  3. Thanks. The one on the boot of my focus mk2 is fading so this must be worth a look.
  4. Yup, had to buy it together for mine too.
  5. Ooh more pictures please :)
  6. Spent about two hours sat in the garden today trying. It's as though I need to remove the white collet back to expose more of the female side.
  7. I thought I could buy a new clip for a few pounds but I still can't get them to mate together and work properly. Anyone got any ideas?
  8. Thanks for getting back to me. Between my first post and your reply, I took the catch out the car and noticed the white plus shaped peg on the actual catch needs pressing back into the white socket on the cable with the lock. What happens though is the white plus bit sink back into the enclosed catch mechanism. Is it supposed to do this as it doesn't seem to protrude far out enough to reengage the female hole. Any ideas?
  9. The images are not working. Is there a chance this post could be fixed please?
