  1. Happy Birthday RaptorAvril!

  2. I've had a few people ask me about removing the headlight clusters on the mk6 post-facelift Ford Fiesta (ST, Zetec & ZetecS) and seeing as I was upgrading my bulbs I decided to do a short(ish) video showing the process of removing the clusters, replacing the bulbs and refitting the clusters. I changed the headlight bulbs to Philip Intense White Xenon Effect and the sidelight bulbs were also included in the box. The fog lights are also Xenon effect but not Philips. Bulb Types Headlight = H4 Sidelight = W5W Fog Light = H11 Tools Required T30 screwdriver bit New bulbs Microfibre cloth (For handling the bulbs) Towel but something to put the headlight clusters on as not to scratch the lenses. Time to Complete Job 1-2 hours
  3. Yet another video guide from me. Check out my youtube channel for more guides. In this video I show you how to change the power steering fluid the easy way and the explanation to why the power steering fluid needs changing so often. I recommend putting metal dishes or similar under the front wheels so you don't scuff the tyres. Tools Required Empty drinks bottle Pilers New power steering fluid (DEX III Transmission Fluid) Wheel dishes (not critical) Time to Complete Job < 30 mins
  4. This guides shows how to fit and connect an 3.5mm aux input kit to a Ford 6006 CDC stereo allowing you to connect your MP3 player, phone etc. In the video I'm fitting this kit in my ST150. SEARCH FOR "FIESTA AUX INPUT KIT" ON EBAY. Please let me know if you have any questions. I also have a few more videos in the series on youtube. Tools Required Phillips screwdriver Drill Step drill Needle Files Centre Punch Time to Complete Job 1-2 hours
  5. Ah that's cool. No worries.
  6. When shifting does it feel like you're trying to push through thick treacle? Also does the problem get worse when the engine gets hot? If so I might have the explanation and the solution for you as I had the same issue.
  7. I had a problem on my ST150 for a while where when the engine and gearbox got hot shifting gears became really awful, felt like you were pushing through treacle. I'd had my gearbox reconditioned about 6 months ago so I was thinking it couldn't be that, or if it was I was going to give them a good talking to but anyway, after some research I find the solution and root cause of the issue. There weren't many pictures for the solution (I need pictures :P ) so I made a video guide on how to do it. Cause The bushes on the which the gearbox linkage lever pivots dry out and expand with the heat causing the lever not to pivot easily. Solution Remove the lever, ream/drill the bushes, regrease and refit. Tools Required - 8mm socket - 12mm drill bit / reamer - Screwdriver - Automotive grease (copper slip may do the job but use grease if you have it) - Trolley jack and axle stands / ramps Time to Complete Job About 20-45 mins This seems to be a common problem on the ST150 but I've also heard this happen on the Zetec and Zetec S. Hopefully this guide will stop people spending loads of money getting a replacement gearbox or paying lots of ££££ to get their one reconditioned when there is no need.
  8. I'm looking at changing the suspension setup on my ST150 but the current suspension system was changed by the previous owner so I don't know how much it was lowered by. My question is what is the stock ride height for the fiesta ST150 so I know how much my current suspension is lowered by as I quite like how it sits on the road now. Any info is appreciated.
  9. Yeah I was thinking something like that. There's a racing shop only a few miles away who said I can test my ST on their dyno there.
  10. Here's a shot from the back.
  11. Sounds stupid but I don't actually know as I have never had the time to get it on a dyno but I hope to find out in the next few weeks.
