  1. Hi, I have a 2004 1.8 Tdci focus estate and I am unsure weather I need a bypass relay or not. When I bought the towbar and single electrics I was told that is was not required and all has been fine for a month or so, however I'm now experiencing an intermittent starting issue which when I turn key all dash instruments seem fine but as I turn further there is no turnover of engine just silence as if it where immobilised. I now wonder if the two are related or not.Would be grateful for any info. Cheers.
