  1. Well if they can be fitted upside down I think that's the way I'd end up doing them.
  2. Cheers both of you. I wasn't in the mood for some random electrical problem especially in the winter.
  3. Hello, Last week my right headlight stopped working but the side light was still fine. Today the other one has gone so all I have is side lights, or whatever the lower power ones are called. If I flash someone I still get the bright light to flash them with though. Does this suggest a wiring problem or a fuse maybe? Cheers for any help.
  4. i've got two remotes and they both open the doors so the batteries are probably fine. this one has a key hole you can put one of the keys in when things go wrong but when I put the key in it will release the steering lock but the engine won't turn over.
  5. I've just checked the immobiliser code and it comes back as 15 ('Key not programmed into immobiliser control module'). Is there any way round it that doesn't require a dealer or mechanic?
  6. Hello, I just got into my car and it won't start or even try to start. It has the keyless entry thing but just keeps telling me to press the clutch and start the engine. Nothing happens though. Also, if I put the actual key in the igntition to start it i can turn the key but nothing else happens. When I turn on the stereo it says 'one hour' on the display as well. Any ideas? Cheers
  7. Ah that's what fomoco is. £300 is way too much. I might get one of those parrot things. I just wanted to be able to use the stereo's phone buttons really. But at least the parrot thing would let me stream music from my phone. :)
  8. Hello again. I've finally gotten around to ordering all the bits I need. Unfortunately I missed the end of an ebay auction for one of the carbon fibre ones but I have a silver one anyway. What I was wondering was did you already have the bluetooth stuff on your original stereo or have you added it? I can't seem to find it apart from a site that is out of stock and charges £299 for it (no way man!). I've seen these on ebay, do you know if they'd work? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-FORD-BLUETOOTH-VOICE-CONTROL-MODULE-NOVERO-8M5T-19G488-EN-STEUERGERAT-/181490257365?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item2a41a98dd5 They look very similar but have 'Nokia' on them. Cheers.
  9. Actually I was going to wait until I found the carbon one or at least a black one but that one looks quite good with the silver stereo in it.
  10. Cheers. I'll start my hunt for the fascia bit like you have.
  11. Hello, I'm a newbie. I just bought myself a mk2 Focus after my 9-3 finally bit the dust and was thinking about the possibilities of replacing the stereo. Will all the newer oval type stereos work? I've seen some pretty good looking ones on ebay with touch screens and GPS and all sorts. They all say Focus 2008 onwards, but is that simply because of the size and shape not being correct? I have the black shiny one in your guide but the one you replaced it with looks so much cooler. And the surround bit as well. Thanks
