  1. Mondeo has a new License plate!

  2. I replaced the front and rear license plates and bought some nice car mats off eBay. Also replaced the tyre dust caps with secure Ford sign ones... it's the little things that matter! Was planning to tackle the scratches today, but I bought a Karcher pressure washer which I had fun playing with today. Miles wise, it just keeps on going, says 450 miles on a full tank, but that number just increases as soon as I hit the motorway. Good thing though as I'm doing 200-300 miles in the next few days. Bought mine with 84k on the clock, loads of gadgets and body work only shown signs of age, other than that, full ford service history and £200 warranty for a year, I am a VERY HAPPY man! Going to tackle the lights next, have bought myself Osram nightbreakers, which should give me more visibility in the dark.
  3. Thanks James I'm pretty handy with the sander and buffer (thanks to my Industrial Design degree) Have you had any problems with your MKIV? So far (touch wood) I am literally in love with her and she runs fantastically!
  4. Loving my Mondeo

  5. Hi guys, I have just started the perfection process of my Mondeo that I picked up last weekend. How do I find a dealer or seller that will match my paint? I know that the paint reference number is on the driver side door frame, but can't seem to find any retailers. Guessing I only really need a touch up paint with gloss / laquer over the top. Upgrades on the go so far. - Osram Night Breakers Unlimited - New License plates (the current one is peeling) - Ford tyre dust cap covers Looking to tint rear 3 windows , but not sure whether or not to have a go myself or get a pro to do it. I did previously do my Grande Punto.
  6. Hi All Have just picked up a Ford Mondeo, 3 owners, 84k on the clock. Had a sparse service history, for the first 50k it was Ford serviced, then last 2 owners, it was serviced 3 more times at 12k intervals. Alas the service booklet was lost on last sale, so I have to dig up the history. So have bought 1 years warranty for mechanical breakdown, just to cover myself from the dealer. Anything else I should be looking out for on the 2.2l TDCi? Has the dealer MOT and service this Friday for free, so will get them to fix anything that you guys bring up on this post. LOVE Fords, this now joins the Fiesta we have!
  7. Mk6 Problems, Help!

Hi all 2 problems 1) Rear wiper engages, but no water comes out when squirter is pressed. Assuming pump problem? Will this be a expensive fix, or shall I attempt a DIY with correct part? 2) Have developed a mysterious creak, on the left side of car, sounds like its almost in the glovebox or left side dash area, just a creak that lasts split second like plastic clicking into place. Pretty sporadic but just bugging me what it might be. (Cleared out glovebox and nothing in there making noises) Any suggestions on above?
  8. the wife has stolen my car! Need it back lol!!! :P

  9. Time To Mod - Aoife

Replacing Cigarette lighter fuse Hi guys, had the Aux cable plugged into the Fiesta and it briefly touched the cigarette lighter area and spark flew out and no power comes out the cig lighter Anyone recommend the fuse to use and which fuse to replace along with where to find the fuse as well?!!!
  10. Time To Mod - Aoife

Have an annoying buzzing/rattling sound from Passenger side front... Any idea what it maybe? I'm thinking potentially a droplink or something??! Can hear it when over 30mph ish.
  11. Time To Mod - Aoife

It's a Petrol 1.4 Lenny! Son of Nod, the key is TAKING YOUR TIME Spray gun which you can pinch from an empty kitchen cleaner product and some liquid. The trick is to make sure you clean clean and clean before, all about preparation. The back sides aern't too hard, it's the rear that might be a pickle. Tints will be ordered next week hopefully, so I'll ping some pictures on here to update you all on my progress.
  12. After joining the fiesta club last weekend... ...its time to mod the car 1st of all, im thinking window tinting - standard 20% on read 3 (or 5 including the 2 baby ones) will do it myself as I did my Grande Punto and it'll save me £100. Other mods I'm thinking is: - possible upgrade ICE system - LEDs in footwells and doors - New exhaust - Air filter change to K&N ...there's loads of engine room... tinker time mwahahah
  13. About To Get Myself A Fiesta!

You know what... good shout. PE06 VXP 54k on the clock Red 1.9 Turbo Diesel Multijet Sporting ...now just to get the wife to wash the car lol!
