Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Hi All,

Thanks Lenny..Appreciate the advice. Not sure yet how efficient the Ford garages here in Prague are yet or if they will even understand the recommendations you make. Not everything is translated the same! Will be a fun learning experience for sure :)
  2. Starting Problem

    Many thanks...sounds expensive ?
  3. Starting Problem

I live in Prague, and 4 days ago picked up 2008 2.0 TDCi S-Max Titanium. Drove it home, fine. Took it to work yesterday, fine. Went to go home, wouldn't start. Helpful guy at the garage close to work got it started. Then he checked that alternator was charging the battery - all ok. Drove home for about 30 mins. This morning, nothing, dead. I'm assuming it's just a flat battery issue? But, is there a chance that I am leaving something 'on' that is draining the battery while car is not used? The handbook is unfortunately in Dutch so not much use! Plan on taking it to Ford dealer to get everything checked over (when I get it started !!). Appreciate any ideas? ...Thanks ;)
