  1. Ok guys, thanks v much
  2. I'm toying with the idea of changing my 195/50R16 to 195/45R16 or maybe even 195/40R16. And also lowering it a tad via Mountune. I'm doing this because I think the gears are too tall, I spend all day in first gear. Also, the car is quite happy in 4th gear at 70mph, so may as well make it 5th at 70. With the lower profile tyres, plus the lowered chassis, the handling will be even better. Anyone see any flaws in my madness?
  3. LED strips

Creed, I read your comprehensive post you mentioned - pretty comprehensive stuff. I've got a fiesta 2014 Titanium, so it's got that ambient strip across the glovebox. I want to get one of these crazy little footwell multicolour thingies... https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N8QMBES/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So from reading your post, I'm guessing I can attached this to the glovebox ambient strip (correct me if I'm wrong). I was wondering if you know the mechanism of how it dims? I'm not sure how this would affect the gizmo above. Cheers
  4. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Oh i see what you said that - when i said bigger holes, I mean the same around the nut head. Thanks anyway!
  5. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

I hope not. In fact I doubt it, as the place I buy my tyres from is a really good company - I think they'd notice.
  6. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Thought I'add add, by the way- the locking nuts on the car do not fit these wheels! Turns out the the standard Titan wheels have bigger holes. I'm not too fussed, I imagine no one in their right mind will want to steal these anyway. haha!
  7. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

OK, wheels fitted. I do personally fit it looks nicer than the other ones. Car is looking pretty good in my humble opinion.
  8. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

OK, got them. Alot of casheroonies but pleased as punchorello. Will get them fitted next weekend.
  9. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Excellent. Stuff it, i will take a chance and get them. Thanks
  10. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Thanks - I think 7.5 facelift with 1.0 ecoboost came around 2012 or so. You'd hope the wheels above would be suitable. Was rthinking maybe extra weight, or more vibrations from 1.0 engine and turbo.
  11. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Haha! You're not alone! You're in good company. Maybe I'm just a weirdo or something, but of all the Fiesta alloys out there, my eyes are drawn to the ones on the right. Anyway, thanks.
  12. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Thanks, I thought so. I was thinking that perhaps Fiesta 2014 is heavier, or has more vibrations or something, compared to 2008
  13. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Found these 7 spoke wheels, after market, part number 1515147 ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-New-Ford-Fiesta-2008-16-Alloy-Wheel-7-Spoke-6-5Jx16-1515147/222441890901?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D40656%26meid%3Dc5a94fbb7fab426481e819a0f2a0343c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D121493242205 I think they are originally for Fiesta 2008. Apparently, according to the model checker, they do not fit my 2014 fiesta titanium. However I can't see why. Does anyone know why these 2008 fiesta alloys would not fit my 2014? Thanks
  14. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

I'd keep the old ones of course! Which Team Dynamics are you talking about?
  15. Just got a Titanium, want to get other alloys

Thanks - funnily enough, that link you sent had the one I like, the 7 spoke one, ie ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine-Ford-Fiesta-MK7-2008-Onwards-Alloy-Wheel-6-5-x-16-Inch-7-Spoke-/121493242205?hash=item1c498fc15d:g:Gg0AAMXQVERS-KsZ 160 quid each- you are right, not cheap ... but I think they look so much nicer than the 15 spoker.
