  1. Annoying ringing noise.

Thanks for the suggestion but this is more like something in the electrics. It does it when the car is moving and also stationary and continues for a while after the engine has been turned off. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Annoying ringing noise.

Recently downsized my Mondeo titanium x to a 2013 Focus titanium. Very pleased as the car as it is like new with just over 4000 miles on the clock. The only thing that concerns me is what can only be described as a fairly quiet continuous ringing noise. This appears to be coming from the rear luggage compartment (hatchback) on the passenger side. I have removed the fuse box cover but am not confident it is coming from there. I know sound travels but it definitely seems to be coming from that area. It does not get any louder with fuse box cover off. The sound is more or less continuous while running. When you switch off after a while it stops after some time. Any ideas as to what it might be gratefully accepted. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Just downsized from Mindel to the focus

  4. Just gone to use the car and the power mirrors stay folded in. Never happened before. Fob operates central locking ok but mirrors do not move, no sound from motor. Tried mirror adjust switch inside and also this does nothing. Could this be a fuse/relay problem. Any help gratefully received.
  5. Something strange has happened on my Mondeo. When I started the car I noticed the dash display was just showing settings rather than the cd track playing. Then I saw air con not on. Trying the buttons nothing is working on the air con switch panel, everything else, sat nav, cd radio etc work fine except the related display does not show on the dash panel. Everything up till then has been working perfectly . I assume the 2 problems are related. Any information as to what has happened would be gratefully received. Thanks
  6. Mondeo Sat Nav Dvd Update

Hi, The ford prices are ridiculous . I did a lot of research on this. I have a 2010 Titanium X with the same blaupunct system I believe. I have attached a link from the proper supplier who are based in the Netherlands, very good service. The link is for the 2013 edition, this is the last one with live traffic. It has been stopped on the 2014. The only thing you need to check is if you can update from 2008 to 2013. If you have to go to 2010 first there should be some on ebay. When you see what the company price charge you will be amazed at ford prices. Hope this helps. If you are not sure how to get the dvd out there is a video on YouTube http://www.navmapstore.com/product/1347/TeleAtlas_Maps_by_TomTom_DVD_Ford_NX_Europe_2013

  10. Hi everyone, Collecting my Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Titanium X on Monday . It is the 2010 model with sat nav. Quite excited as it looks and drives amazing. Also glad to be back to owning a ford especially having an automatic again. Looks like I have found a good forum.
