  1. How are you testing it? If the fuse is fine then probably a connection has come loose. I'd open up the dash to see the terminals behind the socket, hopefully one is unconnected and it's an easy fix. If you can get a multimeter with continuity testing and watch a couple of electrical fault finding vids on YT you should be able to narrow down the problem to one wire/location Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  2. So I scraped my rear arch while parking and took the paint off but it looks like the primer is still present. I have no experience of touching up except for a really poor job I did years ago on my 406. What do I need to do to sort this? Scratch is about 6cm. Paint is Panther Black Pearlecent. 4. Can you tell if it stops when the engine reaches normal operating temp? Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  5. Mk7 Bumper Repair Query

I'd pay it even if it is quite a lot bit more than the excess. If you go through insurance you'll pay the excess this year and the higher premiums for the next few years. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  6. stop puncture liquids

I think they might also put the wheel out of balance. Much better option to go for a plug as an emergency repair Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  7. What are the best bulbs to use?

I was thinking about HIDs previously but I didn't want to spend the money. I was recommended these and picked these up on ebay for about £6.50 and they're the whitest bulbs I've come across yet. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-H7-Ultra-Power-Bright-5000k-Xenon-Gas-White-Car-Front-Headlight-Headlamp-Bulbs-/350783480379 Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  8. Direct line are good from what I hear Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  9. What do you think your insurance should be? £471 doesn't sound too bad for a 25 y/o with 4 yrs ncb. What do you drive? Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  10. Perhaps you need to lube and/or clean up the linkages. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  11. air con

There are a lot of things that can go wrong with an air con system (especially on a car) but 9 times out of 10 it'll be a seal in the compressor. You're problem sounds like an overloaded system though which could be a condenser or evaporator issue. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  12. That's a good sign if everything is running as it should. I'd call round some scrappys and see what they have, i doubt you'll find any ST parts but you should be able to get a zetec bumper and bonnet quite easily. If you feel confident in your abilities then replacing a bonnet and a bumper is an afternoon's work. Job done for under £250 I'd guess. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  13. Just a few bugs lol

Bug blitz is the business Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  14. Is Lada back

Why? Just why? They're not even that cheap Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
  15. Wiring hook-up.

A wiring diagram would show where the permanent live runs to. At a guess I would say there won't be one at the rear Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
