  2. Ford IDS Cruise Control Activation

It's 5 mins with elm config which is free to use and there's a guide on here for it. Most people here don't have ids or use it I think so you'd be quicker doing the above mate Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  3. Transit custom 2016 cargo door locks

Anyone? Or am I resorted to buying security dead locks instead. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  4. Transit custom 2016 cargo door locks

Sorry yes there is but what I want to do is deadlock the van then turn off the locking to the rear doors stopping thieving scum from picking the drivers door lock and then unlocking the rear doors. I basically wanna disable the unlocking of the cargo doors after I've dead locked them so until I flick a switch they can't be unlocked at all Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  5. Hi Just got a brand new custom 2.2l has anyone got any idea how to fit a switch to enable me to keep the rear doors double locked. I'm trying to make the rear more secure considering how easy it is to get into these vans. I basically wanna double lock the van flip a hidden switch that's keeps the cargo doors that way! then exit the van and lock the front. I'm trying to keep my tools safer when on the overnights Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  6. No Oil from Turbo oil feed pipe

Remove sump and clean or replace oil pump pick up pipe guarantee if you've had to change turbo the engine is totally full of carbon !Removed! deposits. There's a ford tsb about turbo replacement on the 1.6tdci if the turbo failed due to oil starvation then you've basically got a lemon and it'll were killed the new turbo fairly quickly Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  7. Helpppppp! Oil light flicker and loud tapping!!

The sumps an !Removed! to take off. It will likely bend if your not careful as it's siliconed on and prying it usually bends the thing and you'll never get it to seal. It will look OK for now then 6 weeks later it !Removed! starts weeping oil. Just be prepared that you might need to buy a new sump mate unless your really careful Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  8. Helpppppp! Oil light flicker and loud tapping!!

It could be sludge and crap in the sump blocking up the oil pump pick up. How is the oil changed when you do it? Drained from sump into a tray or sucked out with a pump? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  9. Timing belt/Cam Belt change

The belt is rated for 10 years at least I've never seen a belt deteriorate before that time unless mileage is high or its contaminated. I'd replace year 8-9 you're wasting money if you replace every 3-4 years just due to age and I've been a fully qualified mechanic for 20 years
  10. Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI 2008 Broken Hose?

Looks like the dpf pressure sensor hoses to me. They carry pressure from dpf to the sensor by battery to intemperate when it needs a regeneration. You need these replaced as they will be useless and brittle but it's a dead easy repair. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  11. New Dvd Satnav Unit Fitted (Pics)

Sorry to hijack but any chance of a link you the camera you have please Dee? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  12. Installing xtrons head unit help

I got the Px72fsf so no need to use any of the loose wires then just plug it into to harness. Thanks guys Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  13. What is wrong with my Ford Focus?

Ic fault I believe the fix for it is to have the instrument cluster removed and repaired but someone will be along shortly to confirm if that's the problem Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  14. Focus 2005 1.6 TDCI Loose Engine Hose

It's not the original hose. Where it joins the air hose it's held on with circlip on yours it's meant to be one complete piece. I would guess previous owner cut it off and might have tried to fit an oil catch can but you really need a new air hose Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
  15. Focus 2005 1.6 TDCI Loose Engine Hose

That's the crankcase breather hose it should have a plastic clip around the end of it but you've obviously lost yours. It will create a right mess under the bonnet if it's not secured properly Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk
