  1. New Fiesta External Lights

That's what it sounded like but thought I best not be so ignorant as to assume. Thank you. I look forward to getting in one, I recently helped my friend order a 140ps st line so we collect it together soon Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. New Fiesta External Lights

As said above the fog lights behave as 'cornering lights' and they illuminate when certain criteria is met. I believe that a directional fog light will illuminate when one or all of the following occur, in these examples assume your dipped beam is illuminated wether by driver action or the auto on function. The car is travelling at under approx 25mph The steering wheels are turned in either direction away from dead on straight A directional indicator is selected either when stationary or under 25mph You may or may not have noticed that BOTH fog lights will come on when your dipped beam are illuminated and you select reverse, this is to illuminate low walls and the like when you 'swing' the front round when reversing. When you say the lights default back to auto after a journey, what do you mean? Is there no dial on the panel above the drivers r knee with the dial on it? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Totally agree @AlexBartlam think of it like a pit stop and get it all done at the same place [emoji846] I'm not sure I would go down the route of part worn or remoulds, too many horror stories and potential problems and cover ups. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  5. The draw should always be the same, I can't see the camera putting any more load on the wire when it is dark. There will be some insignificant variable causing the problem if changing the wire has actually helped. Did you notice a drop in signal from the radio? Sometimes these third party wires can affect the radio and then in turn that interference can reverberate through the power line causing the lines you see. If it was losing power you would expect to see the picture drop out not have intermittent lines, this behaviour would suggest either a faulty camera or some outside factor. In poor light the camera does all sorts of things with the frame rate, aperture and shutter speed so it could be any one of those things. You could always try and get the camera to shoot in 50fps and see if that helps. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Footwell LED lights

Some LEDs do glow when they are off but once the engine is off there shouldn't be any current going through the wire so as above ^^ they should not glow under those circumstances. You can fit resistors to stop this happening. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. Intake whistle when accelerating

Is it under hard acceleration or normal driving? I've heard some induction kits that are designed to whistle as the turbo spools up Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. My mondeo came with Conti's I think. I replaced them with Michelin CrossClimates, they are relatively new on the market (18 months or so) so they are not available in all sizes but that is slowly changing. They are an all season tyre with excellent reviews. I've had no problems with them since putting them on several months ago and can see no excessive wear. I bought them direct from Budget as they price matched Black Circles. I've also heard good things about ASDA tyres believe it or not. Like most who have commented here I don't scrimp on rubber as it's the only thing that keeps you on the roads, and to that end I paid £113 a corner. Brakes are another area where I feel it's best to buy quality. Will be going for EBC offerings come renewal time. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  13. Dashcams, again!

If you ever met me or spoke to any of my 'real life' friends then you would know how close to the truth your statement is, I would absolutely do that. May even stencil VOSA on to the jacket or clipboard too lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. If you can, always use the power leads that actually come with the device. I have just come across this thread and was going to ask what power line you were using. A lot of the dash cam leads have a Ferrite Core Noise Suppressor and that can make all the difference. If you want to use the third party lead then you can buy a separate Suppressor on Amazon/eBay and give that a try. If you want to do this then just route the cable over the back seat to the cam rather than buggering about under trim as it may not work. My dashcam will not connect to my computer without a Suppressor on the line, without one it connects as a dashcam and will not transfer the data. With a Suppressor it recognises the dashcam as an external HDD. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Dashcams, again!

It's an industry that can very easily exploit its customers. I think next time I'll opt to sit in their viewing area. No idea what I'm looking for but they don't know that lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
