  2. Hello Forum I would welcome a little advice on using Ford Touch Up paint. There are two tubes in the pack. I assume one is paint and one is a sealant. There is nothing written on the packaging. I do not know the correct drying time before you apply the sealant. One tube is obviously the paint but the other does not actually mention the word sealant...I think it says charcoal pencil???? Any help gratefully received. 10corsham Norwich
  3. Hello 2009 New Fiesta. I've been away for months..I've seen a lot of useful info about headlamps etc. I would be grateful for any advice about replacing rear near-side reflector. (mine was cracked in a car park) Do I do it from the outside or under rear? (I have the spare part). Many thanks for any info. 10Corsham
  4. Hello..I am new to the forum. I had a very minor bump in a car park. I had to buy a new plastic lens for rear near-side. (no fog light on the near side). The surrounding body work has moved about 2 mm. Can anyone tell me how the lower rear is fixed to the upper part? Is it screwed on? Any guidance gratefully received. Lionel. Norwich
  5. Thanks Tony M It may be me - but I did not find any reference to the actual switch for the heated rear screen on page 76 of the manual; only that the heated rear screen exists. Where did you discover any description of the actual switch? Cheers - Corsham10
  6. Hello Forum Members Is there a separate switch for the rear screen heater/demister? I have checked the manual but I cannot find any reference to this. Does the rear screen heater switch on when the front windscreen heater/demister is switched on? I may have missed something but I there is no mention of this in the manual. Cheers 10Corsham
  7. Hello I am reasonably newbie too. Can you tell me what obd2 compliant means? Also, which Haynes Manual are you referring to? Is there a Haynes Manual for the new mk 7 Fiesta? I didn’t think one was available. Many thanks for any info on this
  8. Thanks, Silent Shark, for the useful info
  9. Hi (still waiting for 3door style+) The salesman at my local dealer mentioned a Ford Insure Scheme called ‘Guaranteed Asset Protection’. He showed me a brochure about this. Does any member know anything about this scheme? Is it worth going for?
  10. Thanks v much FezzaT
  11. I have finally picked up on KeithC’s earlier reply (giving useful info). . It is surprising that the local service dept were not aware of it...or are they just playing dumb!
  12. Hi Thanks I will have only an aux in no usb connection. Do I need a Y cable for the aux in?
  13. Hi Newbie here (waiting for a Style+) I’m a bit of a dummy! What is a Y cable and do I need one?
  14. Hi I mentioned this servicing plan to the service dept at my local dealer. They did not react with any certainty. I asked if there was any leaflet from Ford to explain this plan. The answer was no. He said the salesman will explain more when I take delivery (soon now) It seems a haphazard practice which allows the salesman to juggle the price as he thinks fit! I would prefer to see something in print about this service plan. Can anyone offer any further info?
  15. Hi Is the package you mention available from all UK Ford dealers? If so where can I get further details? Will my dealer be aware of such a package?
