Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. So just bought a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost

As with all cars the style of driving and the amount of town driving will effect the MPG. My last fiesta was a 1.4 TD and was very economical but with all the fuss about diesel cars I wanted to go over to petrol. My run to work is 15 miles each way with only 30% in town and the rest on rural roads. Traveling at between 50 - 60 (on all single carriageway roads) I am getting 52 MPG. Let us know how you get on.
  2. So just bought a Ford Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost

Running back and forward to work in quite a rural location, I am getting 52 MPG from my 1.0L ecoboost
  3. Back Again

Well I am back again but I have recently changed my vehicle. It is still the second car but I wanted an updated car but also an economical as it is purely for commuting back and forwards to work. I also wanted it to be very similar in layout to our B-max Titanium. So I chose the Fiesta 1.0 eco-boost Titanium 5 door Manual. I would have preferred an automatic but was unable to source one locally.

  5. Hi all, I have just joined this group as I recently purchased a Fiesta 1.4 TD Zetec Climate on a 06 plate as a cheap to run car to get me to and back from work. Our main car is a B-max 1.6 Titanium Auto which is used for all other times (except me going to work). Overall, the car is fair condition and drives well but the bodywork needs a bit of attention. I hope to learn a bit from the more experience members on here. Regards Phil
