      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. New S-Max 2010 Owner - Battery Question

    hi ive also just brought a 14 plate 24000mile smax sport last tueday and when straight from there to cornwall and like yourself once we were sorted on hols i sat there for 5 mins setting my phone when the low battrey flashed up ,the car was still hot from travelling the 400 mile there so should have been fully charged grrrr ,anyway i had the battrey tested at 4 places while there and all said battrey was fine ,now ive monitored the battrey in convers whilst driving and it seems to ramp up the 14.7-8v and stops there a while then drops to 12.4v then back up not sure if this is some sort of special charge system on the ford as today at work i checked someones 13 plate mondeo and his also shows low battrey and has 12v at standing without engine running .Could anyone conferm it this is normal at all

    thanks tom ,yes p torque said there work is unnoticable looks like its the 163 diesel to find as the petrols one are rare as hens teeth ,thanks again tim

    Hello im in the market for an smax sport ,currently do low milage sub 5000 per annum and ill been looking for the petrol version for months now but no joy so may risk the 163 diesel model as that seems the normal on the market ,anyhow i know about the dfp issues on cars and the removal and the mot law changes but what about the removal of the insides ,are these still ok on the mot test .Ive spoke to will at p torque and hes offered a remap and dpf strip out and said ill have know issues but just wanted to hear if anyone on here has done the same as i was concerened about moke etc and the mot
