  3. Varying degrees of success with this as the old letters were really faded and used a tiny brush to do the Wiper fluid and Expansion tank lids. Done the same on the Oil top as well in the other picture, gonna take the Rocker off and scrub it back and paint it up as it looks really scruffy.
  4. New Ripspeed air filter fitted.

I simply took a saw and cut the old air box off and put this on, makes for a much throatier induction tone and gained a few more ponies as a result of better air flow, sit above the fan as well so no heat soak from the engine. I left the lower half of the box in as im gonna use it to keep tow cable, jump leads and such in it, bit of handy extra space.
  5. Welded the exhaust to the old pipe which is in really good condition and didnt need replacing, altho a few months back i had to weld the ecxaust back together after it fell apart on both sides of the middle box.
  6. Filters etc

Hiya there, if you want your car to run better without spending too much £££ id change the oil+oil filter + new spark plugs, they dont have to be anything special just standard stuff unless your running a turbo which i dont think you are so basic is fine. You could also spray carb/injector cleaner into the air intake which will clean ur injectors/carbs and so help it run better. As for the air filter if you stick either a K+N or Ripspeed filter on you'll notice the difference straight away, also if you use a K+N style air filter youll get a nice throaty noise when you press the gas pedal, i done this on my scorpio and im now much happier with it and it cost roughly around £70 all in if you buy from car parts suppliers, dont go to car suppliers that are based in retail parks etc as theyr overpriced and the staff i find not very helpful. Hope it helps.
