Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  2. Which H7 bulbs

For anyone who wanted to see the LED H7s
  3. Which H7 bulbs

I do like the chrome indicator bulbs, swapped all mine out from my last car, I think the bulbs come down to a few things, ease of fitting, light temperature (colour) and the light output.
  4. Which H7 bulbs

I've only fitted them a week or so ago so I haven't actually driven with the road wet yet so I'm not sure about the puddles, heres the link to the adapters, I haven't actually put them in yet due to work but planning on putting them in tonight https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162491495798
  5. Which H7 bulbs

I have the auto beam LED H7's the certainty look the part nice white light, I've never had HIDs so I can't compare on that. Word of advice if you was to get them you may need some bulb adapters, I have a preface lift so I'm not sure if it's the same fitting, mine cost two quid.
  6. Auto beam LED lights

Hi lee, I fitted these in my MK7 last week, they do look the part and give a decent amount of light but nothing crazy. I didn't have any operating issues such as flickering but I did require some additional clips to fit them, somthing that wasn't included. I'm not sure if these would be the needed on the MK7.5
  7. Autobeam, dipped beam experience.

Well I attempted to fit them today however the bulbs don't clip in due to the way the holders are designed, the metal part on the connector side is required for this. The bulbs are actually slightly different to the ones shown on the website. I'm a tad annoyed and they're now tye-wrapped in 😂 Looks like I'll need to buy some of these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272611036962
  8. Autobeam, dipped beam experience.

Many thanks, I've ordered the lights and bungs so I'll let you know how I get on when I fit them later this week
