  1. No one from my insurance company has ever seen my car. If I change my steel wheels to genuine ford alloys will I need to declare it or can I say they came with the car?
  2. @Wiggy! Steering rack limiter what does that mean? Nice fiesta btw 😉
  3. @frembrit I think I will fork out the cash for the 195's if they fit 😀 Can you link me to the info in regards to them fitting please?
  4. 7Jx17H2 for the 17 inch wheels and I can't currently see behind my steel wheels as they are already on my car however I've measured the width of the both of them and it looks like the 17 inch alloys are about 1.5 inches wider than my current wheels?
  5. @Frembrit So basically there is not a tyre low profile enough to get me within the 3 percent when I put the 17 inch wheels on? 😭
  6. Or could you suggest a tyre size I can find within about 2 percent? As the speedo on my fiesta already shows about 5MPH above what im actually doing.
  7. Can you explain it to me in laymens terms please? If I fit the alloys and reduce the sidewall size of the tyre as close to the original as possible will it really mess up the speedo that much? Also of so can I not get the speed calibrated for the new size and rolling circumference?
  8. Forgive me! 😂
  9. Hello all. I bought 17 inch OEM ford alloys and I want to fit them onto my 2013 Ford Fiesta. I currently have 15 inch steel wheels with 195/50/R15 Tyres. I am aware that in order to keep the speedometer accurate I will have to match the same overall diameter of the wheel, although I can't figure out what size of tyre I will need to match the 15 inch wheels, I know it will have to be a lower profile but I can't work it out. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. Forgive me if this is taboo but could halford do it as they sell the tyres and fit alloys aswell as wheel alignment and all that jazz?
  11. if I go to my Local Evans Halshaw or Arnold Clark will they fit the tyres onto the alloys for me and fit them aswell as re-program it?
  12. Who would you suggest to re-program it?
  13. Thank you!
  14. The alloys are OEM I didn't want aftermarket Alloys. So how would I go about calculating what size tyres I need based on the size of my alloys? sorry if this is all very annoying but I want to learn and appreciate your help.
