  1. Moisture Around Spare Tyre

Do you know if the revised seal fits the 2007 model?
  2. Service -110,000 miles

What year and model is it?
  3. Moisture Around Spare Tyre

Ok I think I have solved it. When I open tailgate any water on screen just rolls off and most of it drops directly into boot area. Apparently Ford fitted a different rear windscreen in after 2008 so it only affects 2007 models. Any ideas of a fix?
  4. Moisture Around Spare Tyre

It definitely isn't screen wash. It is too spread out for that. It is more like a condensation under the board that lifts up to reveal spare tyre.
  5. Anyone had problems with what can only be described as a thin film of condensation/moisture in boot area. Predominantly in and around tyre well? Boot carpets feel dry and no obvious leak so not sure what is going on? Dried up spare wheel and left it a couple days. No rain at all and when checking moisture on spare rim and floor around it. 2007 Mondeo Diesel. Any ideas?
  6. Does anyone know if this is a multi CD holder. I can't find any way of loading more than one. Also does anyone know if it is bluetooth capable? It is off an 07 Mondeo 2.0 TDCI.
  7. So there are two belts? How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?
  8. Yes, that makes sense. The way the Ford dealer spoke though was that water pumps are more reliable now.
  9. Got it booked in at a Ford Dealer. £349 with a 4 hour turn around time. If I pay another 100 I can get water pump done but dealer said more often now not needed.
  10. Cheers guys. I am delighted with the car as it is extremely tidy and two owner from new with full service history. Did 40k the first year then changed hands and did 47k over next 9 years with regular oil changes. Drives like a new car. I will get belt done in a few weeks for peace of mind.
  11. Ok I will get it done. Is 87k miles too much for the belt? Should I refrain from using it until i got it done?
  12. Thanks very much. Any idea how much it costs to get changed and how often it needs doing?
  13. Hello all, I'm sure this question has probably answered before, but does a 2007 Mondeo Mk4 2.0 TDC Zetec have a timing belt or chain? I have just got this model and am delighted with it, but this is chipping away at me. I can't see anything in service manual. It has 87k on it. Any advice is gratefully accepted.
