  1. It toke me a while to come back but here are my results :) Before and after and btw, looks better live than in picture :)) The finish is tight, it genuinely looks... genuine. Even thought I made a mistake and I started sewing the upper right sector with holes a bit out of sequence :/ Yet there are no bumps or anything, all smooth like factory... and about the leather itself, I am still not sure what it is, feels like quality material to be honest, but it doesn´t have the leather smell. Overall I give it a 9 out of 10 stars.. customer service was good, they contacted me to ask for a picture of my wheel and exact model to send me the correct piece and the product is really good. They send you all you need to fit it as well. I only take a star out because of the lack of leather scent which I was expecting ^^
  2. Foo Fighters new album!

Ah, it was all sold out, I bet it was fun. Although I am a bit far in Denmark haha. Hopefully next year there´s another European tour.
  3. Following, let us know if you find what you were looking for, I am interested...
  4. Foo Fighters new album!

Hey there! Is anyone else loving their new album, Concrete and Gold? It has that unique Foo Fighter´s tone... that light coming out of darkness... it´s SO Epic I can not pick a favorite track :D Any fans here? What´s you favorite track?
  5. AUX not working, help :x!

Problem solved! (Solution) I was not going to give up on this issue! This fixed both the audio streaming and the voice command functions. The cruise control was functioning all the time, I was just failing to make it work... go figure So all it toke was some fuse resetting/replacement. You will need to check which fuse box you have, mostly type one or two if your Fiesta is from around 2010 like mine. Find the fuses for Bluetooth and Audio Sync, one is 15 Amp (BT) and the other is 7.5 Amp (audio sync system). Technically, you could restart them but I wanted the car´s computer to fully get the message (that I am in fact replacing those fuses), because they did look in good shape but I it HAD to be that. 1- With your car off, remove both fuses. Turn the car on and of course the whole audio system won´t work. 2- Turn off the car and insert new fuses where you toke the old ones out, they cost peanuts anyway so just get new ones. 3- Turn on the car and enjoy! (remember to first plug your device through USB, then AUX, and remember to max your device´s audio for optimal performance). Now all the normal procedure to connect should work. If this doesn´t help you, inspect your USB and AUX jacks (physically). They could be damaged, if not, I honestly suggest you to check with Ford.
  6. Hello all, I am having problems with the AUX on my fiesta. We bought it second hand and the USB/AUX were not working. I fixed the USB, turned out the fuse was blown and the power outlet was in not too good shape... So I replaced the fuse and the power outlet for a new original Ford piece. Now the power outlet works, and so the USB I plugged in. The AUX, however... the console shows me the Line In message, but when I plug it to my phone playing music though different sources, it just won´t play the audio on the car speakers. The cable is good, I bought a new one and it does work. The fuses are okay, the AUX port I have inspected and it looks okay as well. Everything works but that.... if it helps, the voice command doesn´t work and neither the cruise control (but I don´t care much about the last). It is a Fiesta 1.25 from 2010. Do you have any idea what might be causing it? I´ve looked all over but none else seems to have this problem... my Bluetooth seems to work, it find the phone and I can access the call list ad contact from the car and so on. It is simply the AUX play... also played with volumes and audio settings, everything is as it should be. just the thing won´t play on the car speakers!
  7. Hello! Even before we have picked up our Fiesta, I have already purchased its first "character building modification" xD Leather to wrap the wheel! Btw, has any of you ever used this specific product? I am a bit distrustful about the word "genuine" before the word leather, but given the price I sure expect it to be so! I will show how it looks with a small guide into it once I have the thing in about 15 days... and well, most importantly... the car in the parking xD Have you done something similar? if so, show us all your wheel!
  8. First second hand advice

Hey, so to close this threat, we ended up getting a Fiesta yesterday! I want to thank you all for your tips, I gave it a good inspection.. fortunately we got lucky, we found a 1.2 with just 100k kilometers on the clock and, more important, full history. Even thought it was meant to happen in a couple of months, this fella was fully equipped so I couldn´t lose the chance. Only one user before and she genuinely toke care of the car.. not a single scratch! So once again thank you!
  9. First second hand advice

Haha, cheers. Thanks everyone. Luke4efc, I was already planning on going deep in as much inspection as I could, but now you encouraged me... I was thinking that it would be too much to crawl below the car but, you make a good point by checking before and after testing it for leaks! Good idea, I´m taking it.
  10. First second hand advice

Thanks for your input, Isetta. It would most likely be a 2009 model. I see, there are probably different names for the different versions from a country to another. I have seen all over that Fiestas are generally quite reliable, and I decided for it also due to its popularity, that might make parts and fixes cheap.
  11. Hello everyone! In a couple of months, maybe 3, my gf and I will be buying our first car. I am a car´s lover, so I will be doing a general check up of the car, request full history and test it, but still, I thought it would be a good idea to ask for the fiesta owner´s advice. It would be a Fiesta Trend/ambiente 1.25, second hand with around 65-77k miles on the clock. The best deals I can find are around 6000£ which is quite cheap here in Denmark, anything below would be probably have some nasty surprise. It was initially gonna be an Up or a Citigo second hand, but those are around 8k£ which I think is silly when I can get a Fiesta for less... isn´t it? It is a bit bigger car and overall pretty similar, so why pay more. So my questions are mainly this kind: What should I pay particular attention to when buying an over 65k miles Fiesta? Should the clutch have been replaced? Will I likely have to replace it? Is there any particular component to take care of? Now, I know this is mainly down to the previous use, but I am trying to find any well known clock issues related to Fiestas :) Any input is more than welcome. Thank you!
