Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. i have an odd issue with my clutch pedal. it works a1 pressing clutch in and engages the gears fine, the issue is when i release the pedal. it feels like it catches the carpet or something when returning, only for a split second, but really annoying. i have had a look around it and cant see anything obvious. i have read up on the internet and the clutch return spring is mentioned alot, does this issue sound like that spring? all i can see about that is it is hard for the pedal to return to position, but i have no issue with that, just this 'catching' about an inch up from its lowest position. any ideas?

  4. does my stereo have bluetooth?

sorry for late reply. still cant get it to work. i have taken the glovebox out and had a look, it does have the nokia bluetooth module. it does have the speaker in the interior light, it does have the voice button, but nothing works. i did dissconnect the plug to the nokia module behind glovebox, and plugged it back in, but no change. am i missing something or could it have all that fitted, and still not be an 'active' feature? i have checked the etis.ford.com website and it lists as follows:- Minor Features Saarlouis Plant Built Security Lock Group No.4 Convenience Group No.6 Less SVO Application/Label 'Zetec' Less Electronic Stability Control Less Tyre Repair Service Kit Power Front Windows One Touch Down With Manual Rear Windows With Tinted Glass All Round With Tinted Glass Less Windshield Heat Shielding With Heated Windscreen Less Temp Controlled Glove Box With Mini Overhead Console With Short Floor Console Less Front Floor Mats Less Rear Floor Mats With Conventional Headlining With Illuminated Sunvisor - Drivers With Illuminated Sunvisor-Passenger Less Load Area Cover Roof Storage-Driver Sunglasses With Rear Spoiler With Dipping Rear View Mirror Drivers Power Heated Convex Mirror With Pass Convex Elec/Heated Mirror With Split Fold-Down Rear Seat With Rear Center Head Restraint Less Driver Seat Lumbar Support Less Temp Control Driver Seat Less 2nd Row Rear Seat With Driver 4 Way Mnl.Seat Adjuster With Pass 2 Way Manual Seat Adjust Ignition Key With Remote Unit With Moulded Gearshift Knob With Door Dead Locks With Door Entry Remote Control Unit With Variable Intermittent Windscreen Wiper Air Curtain Restraint LH Air Curtain Restraint RH With Driver Air Bag With Passenger Air Bag With Side Air Bag - Drivers Side With Side Air Bag - Passenger Side Spare Wheel - Mini Steel With Standard Rear Shock Absorbers 6.5 X 17" Alloy Whl-Painted Silver 205/50R 17 89W BSW Tyres Less Wheel Covers Locking Wheel Nuts With Handling Suspension With Mechanical Parking Brake Less Brake Emergency Assist 4 Wheel Anti-Lock Braking System Less Skid Plates Sports Front Seat With Fixed Foot Pedals Steering Wheel - 3 Spoke Leather Less Auxiliary Heater With Perimeter Anti-Theft Less Radio Pre-Equipment Pack (+)RDS With A/V Jack BT/VC Phone Interface Only With Centre Antenna High Level With CD And AM/FM Radio Ice Feature Pack 6 With 8 High Series Radio Speakers With Telephone Prep Pack - Design B Less Cell Phone Interface System Voice Activated Module - British With Column Stalk Radio Controls Less Smokers Package With Auto Headlamps With Halogen Headlamp Less Daytime Running Lamps With Front Fog Lamps Less Cornering Lamp Header Mounted Courtesy/Maplights With Rear Overhead Courtesy Lamp Less Headlamp Control

  6. i have a 2008 (old shape) mk2 focus. i have 2 keys, 1 of which is a plain key, the other has the remote central locking buttons on. as the mrs and i both have a key each, is it possible to buy another keyfob and program it myself, even if its just to work the central locking rather than the ignition? not too bothered about getting an actual key cut and programmed to drive the car, just would like to have the remote opening even if its via a seperate fob on our set of keys? been reading loads about it on google, but confused myself lol. basically can i buy any fob (even a second hand one) and program it to lock/unlock the car myself or does it need programming via computer? cheers in advance
  7. does my stereo have bluetooth?

  8. hi, new to the site so forgive me if this is in the wrong section. i have just purchased a 2008 (preface) 1.8 ford focus climate. it has the stereo headunit fitted. it has a voice button on stalk by steering wheel and what looks like a speaker grill by interior light. does this mean it has bluetooh? as i cant get my phone to connect to it. it deosnt find 'ford audio' on my phone and cant seem to find a bluetooth option on stereo to see if its turned off cheers in advance
