My 2003 Ford mondeo 1.8lx has a central locking problem. i can hear the passenger door and back left door operate( but they dont lock). but the driver door and back right door, dont operate at all. when inside the car I can manually lock driver,passenger and back left door. any ideas?

My Last note was incorrect- is when I push the lock button( driver door) I can manually lock driver,passenger and back left door.
any ideas?
