Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Hi guys. - apologies if this has been already asked, I have searched the forum and spent the best part of an hour flicking through topics on this section.... I've recently picked up a 1.0 125 ecoboost zetec and I'm starting to look into the mods that I can get for it. So far im looking into the bluefin remap, airtek intercooler, turbosmart dual port valve and a replacement air filter (either itg or pipercross) im reluctant to look at induction kits as they sound horiffic and im looking for more of an understated build..... With that said, Im looking around for a replacement exhaust, now i know Milltek sell sports exhausts for the Fiesta, but I cant seem to find anyone who makes them for the Focus... Are there any about (looking for cat back ideally)? or is it a case of popping to my local Longlife centre for a custom s/s exhaust (luckily theres one about 15 miles from my house and have used them before for my old focus) Many thanks in advance.
  2. I am thinking of remapping my Fiesta ST-Line 125. Looking online I can get it up to around + 31bhp and +47nm with a stage 1 priced at £322 Currently the car seems like a lot of fun and I don't know if it's worth £322 for the extra power, has anyone on here remapped there car, if so did you find it was worth it? Here is a link - http://www.mybluefin.co.uk/curves/EcoBoost125PS.060214.pdf that you can see the gain of power on. Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi all :) sooo im completely new to all this, and I've been reading all the threads for the past few weeks but have decided to bite the bullet and do my own! i currently have the 1.0l 125 ecoboost Fiesta, and I've been looking into the mountune MP135 upgrade but have no clue where to start! i have the Ford warranty so most other options are out of the window for me unfortunately, but I just wanted to know if I could just get the MP135 kit to start off with, or if I'd have to upgrade other things along with it, or if not what would work well with it? Does anyone have any experience with this and what it's like for fitting? Could I do it myself or would I need to have it done? I also wanted to get the mountune sport spring kit, again does anyone have experience for fitting? How's the ride afterwards? sorry for the 18288229628 questions haha I'm just a newby trying to find my feet! any helps much appreciated, thanks guys! :)
  4. Remap Options

Morning Guys, I'm looking into getting the fiesta remapped, i was just wondering the best possible options for the fiesta i have. 10 ecoboost zetec s 125, 2014.
  5. What a car ❤️

She's finally home and I've been out a fair few hours, overall view.. perfect car :)
  6. Hi, Ive had my ZS nearly full two years and want to freshen it up now with some tweaking and maybe a HP increase. Everyone seems to go for superchips but I can't see a long term example of a superchips remap being used on my model of car. Does anyone have a superchip mapped 2014 ZS that they have been running for a while? Or any other experience with any tuning box on the ZS 125? Any advice/recommendations welcome.
  7. Hey guys, Just wondering, but have any of you got a ford fiesta/focus 1.0? Whats it like? What does it accelerate like? Does it feel like a 1.0? How does it handle the motorway? ( I know its for the city driving but...you never know ;) )
  8. First time on the forum so hi :) but this will be our second Ford (the first being a 2002 KA) We are looking to get a second car for the first time as we've always shared a car but we are going to be travelling very different directions soon. I'll have my usual 24 mile round trip and my partner will have a 52 mile round trip each day. We currently own a 1.6D Alfa Giulietta, with one of these Spider tuning boxes (Which are excellent), this car now has a great mix of economy (52mpg currently averaging in winter on my 24 mile 50/50 mix of motorway/town traffic, A lot more in summer on longer journeys) speed (140bhp with 400nm torque, top speed 132mph tested on the autobahn ;) ) and handles brilliantly when pushed. I do love my Giulietta however my partner needs it more now with her soon to do twice the motorway miles I do so I'm looking for something similar (okay slightly toned down and less costly) in terms of a great mix of economy, power and handling and reading lots of reviews for cars I've been lead here as I really like the look of the Fiesta Titanium 125 ecoboost. I'm also maybe interested in the titanium X version too but at a minimum I want to keep some of my current comforts of Auto wipers/lights/dimming mirror and climate control, however I'm totally decided on the 125 ecoboost engine and as its turbo charged I'm also going to add another Spider Tuning box which after speaking to Spider themselves said they have tried the box with the 125 and it gives about 25% increase in bhp (about 155ps) and about 18% increase in torque (about 147 lb/ft or 234nm). So I'm really not feeling too hard done by loosing the Giulietta anymore but I have a few questions. 1. What is the actual differences advantages between the Titanium and Titanium X? 2 A. Although we bought the Giulietta right out (7 months old for a great price) this maybe our first Brand new car and we are totally new to the options of Finance/Leasing/Borrowing, our plan is to keep this car for the next 3 years then get rid of both cars towards a nice Jag (We all have to have plans and dreams). We don't really care about owning or not being able to trade the Fiesta in aslong as we don't have to pay anything towards the car after 3 years. So what is the best finance/leasing/borrowing that would work with our plan? 2 B. If we decided to save a bit of money and go for a nearly new/used version can you still get finance/leasing deals? Thanks and hoping to become part of the community :)

  11. Hello everyone! Just got my first ford! I drive them all the time in work and know how reliable they are! I've just traded in my 2007 E92 BMW 330D Coupe and now have a......... Mk7 Fiesta EcoBoost (1.0L 125BHP) Titanium X with the street pack and I love it!!!! £0 Road TAX! - WOW! Only 4k on the clock, so it's the newest car I've ever owned! Picked it up on Friday so I'm still working it all out, so far I'm getting 45MPG which is just unreal. First fill up took 40L and only cost £52! I'm loving the figures already. Took 6 weeks waiting for the right spec'd one to come up before I took the hit on my beemer but so far, so good! I've not taken any good photos yet but I gave it my first clean today... Snowfoam, 2BM and towel dry - paint work is brilliant *touch wood* Here he/she is... my "unnamed" fezza! Cheers, Gary.
