Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Hi, I want to lower my car but I don't know weather to buy Eibach or H&R lowering springs? I only want to lower the car by about 30-35mm and I can buy either and have them fitted for almost the same cost. Anyone got either of these on their 1.0 Fiesta and can share their experiences or thoughts? Many thanks, Tom :)
  2. Lowering Focus

As you may have read in another post Lenny has twisted my arm and I've decided to get lower my Focus. Doing some research online it looks like a choice between Eibach and H&R springs, the eibach drop is 30mm which I'm assuming is 30mm front 35mm rear? And the H&R 40mm. Im concerned the 40mm drop will be change the comfort of the ride to much, and as I've a little one on the way at the end of June I don't want to turn every bump on the road into a thud. Basically changing the look of the car without compromising the comfort too much. Can you guys post any pics of yours lowered?
  3. Hi everyone, Have a Mk7 Fiesta Zetec and it looks like it could do with a bit of lowering and perhaps some bigger wheels or ones in a different style. Just wondering how the ride quality is with 17s and the lowering springs or 15s with the springs compared to standard spec. Good looks are nice and everything but I'm still spending most of my time in the thing and driving it. Do they change the actual handling performance much or just eliminate some body roll? Sorry for the rubbish 4AM writing, just up in the middle of the night fantasizing about new parts :D
  4. "FRANKIE LA FIESTA" Ford Fiesta / Titanium X / EcoBoost / Project Build Hello Everyone, Welcome to my Ford Fiesta Titanium X (Mk7.5) Project Build, I have owned my baby for the last 12 months since purchasing her she has done over 22,000 miles due to travelling to work and DJ Events. This upgrade project is going to last over the time span of 12 months and will be costing between £1,000 - £3,000. I am going to put aside £200 a month for the upgrades but I am wanting to fully complete the exterior modifications before summer.
  5. New Titanium X!

Hi everyone! I took delivery of my new titanium x fiesta yesterday and what a car! She's a real head turner, in her short lifetime her alloys and springs have been changed already! The springs have been replaced with Eibach pros and driving home from the garage i noticed a more bumpy ride from yesterday but i can live with that! Parking on my drive is a no go anymore as the front scrapes :( If my understanding is correct due to these being progressive springs they should drop even more when they settle?
  6. Hi guys, I'm thinking about lowering my c-max using eibach springs with my stock shocks. I've read various reports about this, some say it works fine, others say it'll destroy the shocks. Has anyone done this on their c-max? Does it work ok? Thanks in advance!
