      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Hi, I have Red&Black, 1.5 GTDI 150HP and think about remapping it using Superchips Bluefin. Anybody already did that on mentioned engine? If yes, how did it affected the performance and complete "feeling" of the car? I think there shall be no problems with HP increase to 193HP because I have found information that GTDI 150HP and 182HP are the same just the 150HP is "limited" in firmware, correct? Thanks!   3. Hi everyone! Since last week, i send my car to Ford for the oil replacement and as i use bluefin, i switched to the stock map just incase. Everything fine, apparently... coz when i switched to my bluefin remap, the car when you press for gas, would give little pulls, like loosing power, speeding, but all the time with small pulls...making it vibrate, like jumpy acceleration. So, after this i sent it 3 times to Ford, to find out, and first they thought it was one of the spark plugs, so the replaced all three of them and now the pulls are very rare but stills keep doing them. Specially when im in a high gear (like 4 o 5) and i need to speed, or in a climb way up. I really dont know what is wrong with it, not even ford can detect the problem... A friend of mine is 100% sure that the ¿coil? ¿bobbin? is not working proper. Any helps? :( Cheers! EDIT: I forgot to mention that with bluefin map is a lot more obvious the pulls...and the driving experience is horrible!
  4. I fancy this! Anyone else had the bluefin stage1 remap done to their 1.0Fiesta 100ps? I've seen a few posts on the 125 and ST's being remapped and other performance extras added, like filters, hoses etc... but im talking standard engine. Straight stage1 remap? There shouldn't be any problems should there? I wouldn't need any additional performance mods for this would I? Much appreciated Cookey.
  5. Hi all, Thought id share just how thrilled i am with this car and what its capable of. Spent the last year working on it and I'm pretty happy with my end result. This is my second car to, so its been quite an insightful experience! Heres my car fresh from the showroom last August: Added my new 17" Rims - I run a tyre place so i have decent supply of alloy wheels at my disposal: Had a Bluefin Remap installed at Hills Ford - Kidderminster, upped the bhp to 140. Then kept things simple adding a K&N Panel filter which gave it a surprising little boost!!! I'd estimate I'm running with 145-150bhp, the actual presence of the filter made quite a difference although that might just be a placebo. BODYKIT! I spent such a long time admiring the ST and S models on the roads I finally decided to update my bodykit. A Bodyshop I work with, who do our Alloy Wheel refurbishments, offered to sort the painting and fitting out for me and were more than reasonable. So I've just come back from a 2500 mile 8 day road trip through France, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Luxembourg (and England but I guess that doesn't count!) in the fiesta and just thought I would share a couple of pictures and a probably unimpressive video of part of a nurburgring lap. The car has been remapped using bluefin, and although I have a Pumaspeed induction kit, this wasnt on and hasnt been since i had the car serviced a couple of weeks ago. (This may be up for sale soon, PM's welcome, a decent offer may make me sell it). Otherwise it's standard. Overall the car was excellent and never missed a beat; due to what feels like a silly amount of torque from a 1.0l with the remap i half expected it to go bang before the end of the trip, but after doing two laps of the 13mile nordschleiffe, and the Furkapass(see pic below) Grimselpass and Sustenpass in switzerland, all of which rise to well over 2000m through the alps, it took it all in it's stride. The torque was very welcome coming out of super tight hairpins into a massive gradient up a mountain, and where traffic allowed i made great progress! Oh and reached 120mph pretty quick on the autobahn before traffic, and it was still accelerating, reckon it would do 130mph with clearer roads, but they are very busy. The only niggle with the car were the brakes, the car accelerates much better than it brakes, and this totally takes away your confidence to build up too much speed on the nurburgring, or too much speed going down the other side of an alpine mountain for fear of not being able to slow down enough for the inevitable hairpin. The nurburgring has some big gradients on it, which you can't tell in any of the videos on youtube, and after slowing down for two tight downhill bends the brake feel had totally gone and i pretty much had to cruise for a while to cool them down, and i wasnt going that fast to begin with! On a track you should either be on full throttle or braking on the straights, and i just couldn't do that as i would have built up far too much speed for my lack of confidence in whether i could slow back down in time. In short, i want to go back to the 'ring and the alpine passes in an ST. I could always get better brakes and suspension for mine, but it isn't worth it and that wouldn't get rid of the constant feeling that the engine and clutch aren't going to last very long in its remapped state. Oh and i also want cruise control if i do a similar trip again!

    Hi there, Anyone out there tried the Bluefin superchip on the Mondeo 2.5T? How big an impact does it have on the fuel? Im getting 28 ish mpg on the local roads... Cheers
