Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. The tailgate release button on the dash next to the steering wheel on my Fiesta isn't opening the boot it seems, I though the the boot button on the key itself would still open it and after trying to open the boot with the button on the key that didn't open it either. Only way I can access the boot atm is the good old fashioned way with the lock + key. How will I fix it? Anyone had same problem? Is it a quick cheap easy fix? cheers
  2. As you can see in the image, i have 2 spaces free for buttons and i want idea's of what i can put there to fill them in ? Instead of it just been an empty grey square
  3. Hi, I realised the boot button is not working? It's next to the steering wheel? (according to the manual it only works when the ignition is off) but regardless it doesn't open the boot? Thanks!Picture of button
  4. Hi, I believe 1 of the buttons to be broken on my navigation system in my Focus. Example: I go to the navigation screen and want to press the destination button. However even though I am physically pressing the buttons nothing seems to be registering on the screen. Any advice? Radio System similar to the one pictured here Button in question is the right hand side soft key on the bottom. Thanks,
  5. Yesterday I got my first car, a 53 Ford Fusion 2 1.4 Petrol. Unfortunately it only came with one key, and I would prefer to have a spare available. How would I go about retrieving/buying/having a new one made? Any help would be appreciated!
  6. My handbrake release button cover (plastic bit at the tip) has been missing since I bought the car, exposing the bit of metal. Handbrake works fine, but looks rough. I ordered one from Ford (cost only a few quid), but wondering, is it just "stick it on at the top" job or more complicated than that? Thanks
