  1. I have a 2007 ford fiesta zetec 1.25 and intend to lower it by 35mm on apex springs but also want to change the shock absorbers too to prevent any issues in the future. Anyone got any suggestions what shocks would go with those springs? Thanks
  2. Hi all, My W reg fiesta recently failed it's MOT for a fluid leak in the nearside rear shock absorber. Could someone please explain to me or point me in the right direction of some instructions or a video to follow on how to change it. Thanks Jack
  3. Hi There!

Hi all, I am currently driving in a 1.3 Fiesta Finesse which I have had for just over a year and I'm just looking for some advice on things to do to my fiesta to make look a bit cooler and general up keeping of my wee ford. Thanks for reading!
  4. I'm looking for suggestions and recommendations as to how to improve the ride quality. The roads around my area are generally poor and my S-Max thuds about when going through potholes (some of them quite deep) and bumps, even at low speeds of ~15 mph. Otherwise, the occasional journey on motorways and most A roads is generally good, although I'd say there's always room for road grip to improve. Wheels and tires are the factory standard 17" alloys. Vehicle has clocked about ~20k miles. Is it worth changing the OE shock absorbers, and if so what should I change them to?
  5. Afternoon everyone. Before I get on to the parts I'm selling, I just have a few queries... would anyone be able to tell me the compatability of a 1.4 gearbox to the 1.25 engine. Planning on putting the higher ratio gearbox onto my engine, for top speed bonuses and economy. I'm also looking For the bulb part number of the Clock lights. As I wish to change them for LED Type Also the part number for the internal lights of the centre console. "Fog light illumination light" , "Temperature control, Area of flow and the selector" lights, And lastly I'm wondering If LED indicators are road legal, I've seen a pair on ebay but nowhere does it mention that they are or aren't for road use and this seems to be a common practice. Can any of the MOT/Police ford owners shed some light (no pun) on this please? Okaay. Bits for sale: 14" Original Fiesta Zetec Alloys. No Damage. 6. Hi! I need to renew the rear shocks on my Mondeo estate 55 plate. I have also been told that the rear discs and pads are 75% worn. Seems to me that I may as well change the whole lot in one go. Selected Bilstein B4 for the shocks and generic least cost discs and pads... does this make sense? I think that I need to remove the wheel arch liners to access the top mount of the shocks... haven't looked yet but is this right? Also, I've been told that I need a windback tool for the calipers so does anyone know whether I need a left hand or right hand tool? Anything I need to look out for in doing these jobs? Grateful for all advice received.
