  1. I have a 2007 Focus CC. The heater blower, heated windscreen and and windscreen wash have all stopped working. I also have a bonnet open warning on the dash. The fuses appear OK. Is there anything that is common between all these? Any help greatly appreciated.

  4. No Matter How Much I Clean My Car...

Every weekend i'll head to my dads to wash my car (since my flat being on the 5th floor doesn't offer the most practical way of getting water to the car park across the road...) I'll jet wash the car and grab my sponge, clean every nook and cranny of my car, ill dry it, wax and polish, blacken my tyres, hoover the inside polish the inside clean the glass, give the car mats a good wash and just generally do Car-los justice and give him a nice shiny finish all over... I feel very pleased with myself at this point until my dad comes back and takes all the attention away from how nice and sparkly Carlos is... Photo Attached.
  5. May bank holiday Monday was car wash and wax day. I used the following products: 1. Halfords car wash kit 2. Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax 3. Meguiars Interior Detailer Cleaner. Washed 3 cars by hand with the 2 buckets system and then waxed it according to the instructions. Going to keep this short and simple and I think the wax and interior cleaner are very good products. Going to have to wait and see how it holds up against the Irish weather. Hoping to get some sunny days to keep it and going and will give an update in a few weeks. Here are some pictures of the 3 cars we cleaned today.
  6. Hi, This is my first post on here. I have been elsewhere for this issue but no help so far..... Regarding rear screen wash supply pipe on a Mondeo Mk3 2001 hatch back. There is a flexible screen wash pipe within the hinge of the boot. It comes from the car body and plugs into the boot lid (eventually leading to the rear washer jet). This rubber pipe seems to be connected to the boot lid via a black plastic connector (which kind of sits in the boot lid). It is at this point / connection that I have screen wash leaking everywhere into the boot whenever I use it. There is a crack in the rubber pipe where the fluid is coming out. BTW the jet is not blocked, as you will still see it exiting some of the screen wash. I thought I could simply pull the rubber pipe off and replace it BUT..... for the life of me I cannot remove it. It seems to be moulded on. I have even used a screwdriver to try and prize the plastic connector out but no luck at all. It is difficult also to get to it due to the limited space - and I have small hands lol! Has anyone else come across this (long shot)? And if so any guidance would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance..... A pic is below:
  7. Excuse me for probably sounding really daft here but what's the difference between polish and wax? Thanks
