  1. Hi, So about 6 months ago I bought a Ford Fiesta Mk7 Titanium (2010). Since then I have had wheels buckle three times! Each time I've had the wheels replaced at quite a high cost. Last time my mechanic suggested I look at getting steel wheels if it happened again. Recently I hit a small pot hole and immediately my steering wheel started vibrating again. It's worth noting that this is always the extent of the problem. Not so bad I can see the buckle but I get a definite vibration through the wheel, especially at higher speeds. Steel wheels don't seem as easy to come by as my mechanic suggested. However there are plenty of alloy options. Basically what I'm after is some suggestions of some strong wheels that aren't going to buckle after every small bump and aren't going to break my bank. I live in the United Kingdom country side and the roads aren't always amazing and as much as I do my best to avoid pot holes occasionally there is nothing I can do (latest one was submerged). That being said the 2008 Fiesta I drove for three years never had any problems with its wheels. I've attached a photo of the wheels I currently have. Thanks in advanced for any help. I really like this car but the constant wheel issues are a nightmare and really make me regret buying it.
  2. So someone has dinged by Fiesta's wheel trim and bent the steel in rather badly. I need a new 15" steel wheel for my Fiesta and have been told that they are around £100 from Ford direct. I have looked on eBay and there is a Fiesta 15" steel wheel with tyre for £50, however it looks like it's an older wheel (the holes in the steel wheel are more round rather than oval shaped like the new wheels I've seen). My question is do all Fiesta wheels fit as long as they are 15" or should I be looking specifically for ones dated 09 and newer? Failing that, I've found this steel which I think is the one I'm looking for (same number as those on my current tyres and the steels came up when I input my cars details). Would one of these be suitable too? Thanks in advance.

  8. Hi guys, Could someone please photoshop my car, and replace the current alloys with standard Focus steelies without the hubcaps? I mean these sorta ones: (doesn't have to be those) My car: Cheers.
  9. Hi There!

Hi all, I am currently driving in a 1.3 Fiesta Finesse which I have had for just over a year and I'm just looking for some advice on things to do to my fiesta to make look a bit cooler and general up keeping of my wee ford. Thanks for reading!
  10. Didn't found a topic about this so I made one. Here you can show off your wheels. Here's what I got: 1. Winter wheels, original Ford 14" wheels. 165/75 tyres 2. Original Ford 16" wheels. 195/45 tyres 3. Current summer wheels, Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 17" ET38 with GT Radial Champiro 328 205/40 tyres. Love these wheels. Those fit perfectly to a panther black Fiesta. 4. New project wheels, OZ Racing Ultraleggera 18" with Toyo Proxes 205 / 35 tyres. Slightly scratched and few gutter rashes. Thinking of painting these golden.
  11. Ford Focus St

Hi every1, just joined the group so lookin forward to speaking to many of you! Quick question, can any1 tell me what year this focus st is from and whether the alloys shown would fit my focus 1.6 tdci sport 2011? Thank yooooou!
  12. Hey! So I've picked the alloys up which I was speaking about in this topic ( And they look like this! They are mint! £50 for all five! Basically I'm ready to stick these on on my Fiesta BUT they didn't come with any nuts... I know that I'm going to need some as alloys are a completely different ballpark than Steel wheels so I didn't know where to get them from. I found these online ( And obviously these have the locking nuts which makes it that little bit more secure, but would these be the correct ones? I probably sound like a right novice at the moment but before I buy these I wanted to check. I've got all the equipment up the garage I work aswell as the ramps but before I can even think about putting these on (apart from telling my insurance obviously) I need to get some proper wheel nuts. Any ideas would be appreciated! :) Cheers, MArk
  13. Fiesta Mk4 14" Wheel Size

I'm looking at replacing my standard steel wheels with alloys, just wondering what the width and offset is on the original steel wheels fitted to mk4 fiestas? I have checked for stamps or anything but I couldn't find any markings:/ Also, what wheels have you fitted to your fiestas?
  14. Bigger Rims Effect

Hi guys. I got a quick question for you. I was just wondering if putting bigger rims on the car would have effect to what speedometer is showing? i.e. the actual speed, how many miles it does, mpg calculator and etc. The standard rims on fiesta mk7 zetec are 195/50 R15 The new ones would be 205/40/zr17 I know that the tires will fit the car. Simply I dont want to mess with the computer and showings on the clock as the car is new. Thank you in advance!
  15. Street Pack Alloys

When i purchased my car from ford on the options scheme i could of got my wheels painted for £250 quid as an added option but i didn't at the time for whatever reason. Does anyone know whether they would take them in and do it now once you have the car??
  16. City To Street Alloys

I'm looking to change my wheels from 16" 5 spoke, to the street pack style 17"s on my new plate 1.6 tdci fiesta. This is my first attempt at changing wheels. Would I need to do anything with the speedo? Also, does anyone have any 17's street style wheels to sell or does anyone know where i could possibly get some at a reasonable price? Any help or advise would be great. cheers folks
