  1. Hi there, I am just putting the feelers out to see if anyone knows someone looking at selling a MK1 Mondeo in Citrine? I am aware that there are 211 Hendy RSI Versions, but i'd love to find one if someone had a nice one that they were thinking of parting with? Regards, Joe McAreavey Somerset UK
  2. Delete Gallery Album - How?

Hi, I have two empty albums in the "My Gallery" how do I delete them? driving me crazy!! had to set them to private so they don't come up when people look at my galleries...but that't not really a solution. Any Ideas?
  3. I press the big button on the top right side of the dash, with the picture of the rear hatch open on it, and nothing happens. Same with the key button. Nada. The key in the lock opens it fine, and it closes fine. Just not by using the key or the dash button. There is no sounds or activity when either is pressed as well. Which is the fuse that controls that lock. All other work ok I might add, including central locking. Double click the key, and indicators flash. I don't think the alarm actually works, because I have never heard it make a sound. Anyway. What wire is it - wire colour - that comes from the car via that flexible harness into the rear hatch. Could be a broken wire? Can't find a fuse for it at all, and if Fuse 63 is on the back of the fuse box - I can't see how to access it anyway. The plug that goes into the locking unit has four or five wires anyway. So how do I get this sucker to work? thanks Just an edit - I just noticed on fiddling with it again, that when I press the button on the dashboard behind the steering wheel, there is a faint clicking sound like a relay, from somewhere inside the dash/console area? But still no lock activation. There are four wires going to the lock mechanism on the hatch, : Black, Green and white, Brown and black, and Blue. One wire actually has just over 8 volts on it. Although I suppose none of that is any help, although the clicking behind the console might indicate a relay of some sort somewhere?
  4. Hi, I've got a Focus MK2 (05 plate) 1.8tdci 5 door Titanium version. I noticed few things in the boot side on the car recently. First the boot gas-struts are not rigid enough and sometimes do not hold the boot open and tends to close by gravity. I think I need to replace the gas-struts to hold the boot in the upright position sturdy and secure! Is it a common Focus thing or you recommend replacing them? Any instructions on here please? Second is the boot catch is not securing the boot tight enough and when driving and driving on road bumps I keep hearing these squeaks and noices coming from back of the car and if I physically try to move the hatch door when locked i can feel it's not tighten securly. Do you have any instructions how to tighten the boot catch well and get rid of these noises please? Third, I noticed a leak in the side of the boot but I think that needs to be sealed properly with silicone. I had MOT done last month and some of the bulbs needed replacing on that side and I think when they fitted the rear light back they didn't make that well. Thanks and appreciate your help. Cheers.
