  1. Pleased to say that in the coming months I should officially be able to join Stoney's so called jammy beggars club! :P I have ordered a new 2015 Mk3.5 Focus ST-3 2.0 EcoBoost in Deep Impact Blue, with: Rear Privacy GlassHeated Steering WheelPremium Nav with Sony speakers & Sub.Rear View CameraDriver Assistance PackIt is a factory order, so I do have a bit of a wait, the car is currently scheduled for an unspecified September build, but reading about the delays with the ST (particularly ST-3), hopefully I will get it before my car is 1 yr old and needs taxing and servicing, at least before Christmas! As some of you will know, I was incredibly frustrated with the apparent "design-intent" of the 1.5 EcoBoost I bought last year, so much so I have dubbed it the EcoRattle. After months of trying to get the issue resolved, I have managed to come to an agreeable resolution for changing the car, as I just cannot live with the turbo rattle. I'm still going to loose out a bit financially, but at least I am getting an upgrade out of it. Test drove one a few weeks ago, and now I can't wait to get my own :D Should look like this: https://youtu.be/RUIwO11kV34 Updates Arrived at dealers: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/73233-new-2015-mk35-st-ordered-goodbye-ecorattle/?p=533167 Collection day: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/73233-alexp999s-mk35-focus-st-3-ecoboost/?p=533876
  2. Mk 2.5 Help/advice?

First off, Merry Christmas lads/ladys! Anyway, after being in a bump a few months back I am finally getting somewhere with the car in terms of repair. I need a few more bits but for now I need some advice, I am hoping to get a lot of the work done over the Christmas period. I need an idea of a price to spray the front bumper Vision blue and also an idea of how to replace the air con radiator (condenser?). If anyone has any idea about these things id really appreciate it. P.S Anyone know of any good 4 wheel alignment centres in Nottingham? Thanks in advance!
  3. Zetec S Mk7.5 New Modifications?

Hi Guy's, This is my First post I have made on this form! :) On the 30th of September I purchased my 2015 Ford Fiesta Zetec S Eco boost 1.0 in deep blue, it had 1.5K miles on the clock and I payed around £12.5K for it with 1 owner before me. it also has a lot of extra features like the upgraded centre console Etc.... I have posted some pics on my imgur page. Pictures: Im 17 years old and this is my first car, I now have 3200 miles on the clock, I am looking to get a "S" Badge to put on the front Grill as well as a "Zetec S" badge for the back, I have been looking on E-Bay and they seem to range from £10-£30 for both. I'm not to sure what colour would look best Please post your opinion below and why. (Deep Blue, Red, Black or White). Would I need to tell my insurance company about these small Modifications? I am also getting the back 3 windows tinted, in 1-2 months but unsure of that % tint I should get. If their are any other small modifications that you would recommend please say below (I don't want my insurance to increase as I am already paying over £2,500 per year) I also don't care to much for engine modifications. Thanks a lot guys!! Hope to speak to you guys soon! :D

  9. Hi folks, Can any of you give me some pointers? Lots of head scratching going on as I stare puzzled at my Focus 1.6 TDCI 06 plate. The powertrain malfunction light comes on after driving for about a minute from a cold start. I also get limp mode. As the car approaches normal operating temperature it starts to run lumpy accompanied by puffs of blue/black smoke out the back. One of the cylinders sounds different from the other three when it starts to run like this a bit like bop-bop-bop-bop. I had a car once that made a similar sound and it turned out to be a leaking exhaust valve. If I stop and switch off the car and start off again after about 10 minutes the smoke has gone away but the powertrain light stays on. I've had the car connected to Ford diagnostics equipment and there were no codes stored in the ECU! Their offer was to start substituting things until the fault was cured, something which could end up being very expensive. Obviously I'm reluctant to go down this route. I'm considering doing a cylinder head overhall and while I'm at it I can check the pistons, rings and bores. Is there anything I should try before going ahead with this or has someone had the same experience I'm having. I've read a lot about injectors and seals and heaters. Could they have something to do with it? The car has done 110k miles. Thanks in advance Dan
  10. Hello fellow club members, I 've opened this post as a last resort in my attempt to find the owner of a BLUE 5 door 1993 Escort TDX 1.8. The car has been of the road for a good 15 years, so just in case anyone knows something, your help will be appreciated (pm or reply). Registration plate is K11 KER. Thanks in advance for your time and effort.
  11. Hi All, First time posting on here. Hopefully I am posting in the right area otherwise kindly point me in the right direction. I think the part I am looking for is a right hand rear door mould which goes across the rear door and then across the front door like a little bumper. Mine has started to peel away and bent and when I drive on the motorway I can here it flapping. I have a ford fiesta zetec blue 08 plate and the mould is blue too. Do you know if this is a mark 6 and also where do you think I can purchase this part from? I have tried Ford but they are very expensive. Many thanks
  12. Hi Folks

Hi Folks Just joined mainly to learn stuff having just acquired a Candy Blue Fiesta Ecoboost 1.0L 100 PS Titanium X 5Dr. The Auto is to get my wife back driving as she had to give up driving her 1994 Reg Mondeo Ghia 2L Estate Auto which was pristine but the gearbox was BER. Must say I was shocked when I road tested this little 3 pot 1.0L turbo. So bought it trading in my 55 Reg 2.0L Focus Ghia hatch. Jamie

  14. S1600 Gearbox Issue

Hi everyone 60 reg Fiesta S1600 with 38K on the clock. Gearbox has recently started squeaking when changing gears - mainly 1st to 2nd & 3rd to 4th. Anyone else had this issue? Really annoying and only recently just started after being serviced by Ford. Gears are a bit stiff to change too but just put this down to it being cold. Cheers

  16. I've had my Mk7 Fiesta for a little bit under 6 months now and I've finally have decided to make a build thread from the day that I picked it up the 16/05/2014 to now and for what ever modifications come after! I went and inspected the car on the 12/05/2014 at used car dealer in Melbourne (Capital City in Victoria Australia) and I was immediately hooked! I had the choice from either a Black WT Zetec which I had inspected earlier in the day or the Phantom Blue WT Zetec, (both Asian versions) and the rarity of the Phantom Blue immediately caught my attention. I had only seen about 3 on Victorian Roads since they were released so my choice was clear! The day I inspected and purchased the car. After cutting a few deals with the salesman I managed to knock the price down and get four brand new tyres put on with a replacement tow cover as the original was missing before i picked it up 4 days later. I went home that night and immediately ordered some new bulbs for it. Some super bright reversing lights and everything else needed for the front but in white. This is the new Fiesta the day that I picked her up. As soon as the new lights arrived I put them in so I didn't have to deal with the horrible yellowish stock lights! Unfortunately I don't have any photos documenting this but if requested I am able to show a comparison. Next thing on my to do list was pick a name for the little beast and the get some protection for her! So I fitted some weather shields and a bonnet protector about a week after I got her! And I decided on a name something close to her heritage. Phantom. Off to work now but I post some more later! - Tom

Finally found a stock height focus to compare. Not too bad. I'd love to go lower but I'd not get off my own street if I did

  24. Hi, I've not long had my Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 TDCi. Now the car has had no issues what so ever until I discovered a blue smoke problem. It has FSH and has only done 65431 miles. Now to my amazment the car was serviced by the previous owners garage and I found it had been overfilled with oil (1.2 Litres over). I drained the oil asap, it has reduded the blue smoke immensly but from time to time I am getting a lot of smoke still, I am also finding that it seems to have back pressure as the oil is seeping out in places, including 2 of the injector housings (right at the base). Now the stuff I have done to try to stop the problem: Taken off the EGR valve and cleaned (this was dirty). Turbo Oil pipes off and seem to be flowing. Now this is where I need help, I want to clean or change the PCV, but I can't find it on this car and I've about pulled all my hair out lol, so can anyone tell me where it is pretty please. The car runs a dream and is really quiet. From cold purrs, but you can here the engine change tone as it gets warm and it then sounds like it's pressuring. Now could the turbo seals have gone or PCV, plus the oil they've used is crap, smells and is already going dark. Would cheap oil cause issues to? Any help would be greatly recieved as the car is mint and to be fair I'm a little gutted. Thanks Guys :o)
