Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Direnza Exhaust

Hi, just bought this direnza cat-back exhaust system for my 2004 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec and received it today. After having a look at it, I have noticed the mounting points are different to what the standard ones are. For example, on the Direnza exhaust, the mounting point closest to the tail pipe is in-line with the exhaust, however, the standard one is at a right angle. Could anyone help me out here please? On the website it says it should fit my car but I'm starting to worry that I've bought an exhaust that won't fit :/ Attached images to give you a better idea of what I mean.
  2. Does enyone now what bolt thats suposte to be here? its a mondeo 2008 2.0 TDCI 130HP
  3. i was driving as normal and suddenly a huge noise and I obviously stopped and rang the RAC, they'd never seen this before. My top engine mount had snapped. The car is in the garage and needs drive shaft plus plus, they are still investigating the damage, Has anyone heard of this before? What could have caused it? the repairs are already £000s. Frustrated that I can get a reason why this happened.
  4. Hi guys, Thinking about getting a phone mount for my car. Obviously there are two types of solutions: the window suction type mount, and the air vent clip type mount. I want the latter, as it allows for easier cable routing (aux and charger), and my phone overheats easily when navigation is running - so an air vent blowing onto its back would be ideal. So far I have looked at 2 cheap options on fleabay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Black-In-Car-Kit-Air-Vent-Mount-Smart-Phone-Holder-Cradle-for-HTC-One-X-UK-/140758273036?pt=UK_Holders_Mounts&hash=item20c5d8cc0c http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Universal-In-Car-Clip-Air-Vent-Mount-Holder-For-HTC-One-Windows-Phone-8X-8-S-/390595553692?pt=UK_Holders_Mounts&hash=item5af14f299c The phone I have is a One X. So here are my Q's: 1. Does anyone have any other product recommendations? (A bit skint at the moment, so nothing too fancy lol) 2. Out of the two links I posted, which looks/is better? (more stable etc) 3. Any other useful/relevant advice? Cheers.
