Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Hi, I own a 2000 Reg Fiesta and i'm looking to upgrade the sound system. I've done some reading and it seems this is harder than initially anticipated. Firstly is this possible with the current wiring I have in the speakers? Do I need to change the wiring or increase the power output to the speakers? I am only looking for entry level speakers for the fiesta such as these: https://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-focal-130as_p-32021.htm but I am also open to suggestion if someone could recommend some. I will only need to upgrade the passenger side and driver side of the front seats as these are the only ones with speakers in them. The fiesta also has speakers by the door handles as well which may need upgrading if possible? If someone could provide some general advise that would be great... is this upgrade possible at a relatively low cost? (max £250 inc speaker price) Thanks.
  2. Focus Titanium LED Reg light

Hi all, Searched this in the forum but couldn't find a topic on it. I have Blueish Side Lights, Wing Mirror Lights, Reverse Lights, and 8000K HID Dipped Beam & Fog Lights. Basically the only 'Warm' light on my car is my Reg plate light. Can this be changed? Thanks Ford Focus Titanium 61 plate MK3 1.6 TDCI
  3. ESP?

any one know how much it would cost to add Full ESP to my mk1 Ford Focus 1.8 Thank you
  4. Registration Plate Help?

  5. Private Reg

Hi All, First Post, Im just wondering...... Im thinking of buying a private reg, only im in a conundrum. Im wondering how bad it is with getting pulled on an illegal spacing....... Basically ive seen a few plates one of them is like this (not the actual plate of course just in case i buy it, but you should get the idea!) L18 MHU What the probability be of getting pulled if i had it as L18M HU ? The other ones i would have legally spaced as its like this :- V888 LJJ, H777 LJJ etc etc Which do you think 1) Looks better and 2) is a better buy as there both £250. Thanks in advance, Liam
  6. More bad luck! I'm sorting out registrations, private plate to standard and I discover one of the bolts is threaded on the existing registration plate. So, a closer inspection to remove the boot door panel, no problem and I've done that dozens of times is the Golfs as the wiper motors always seem to die BUT its completely threaded, it just goes round and round and round.. I can't cut it because a saw blade won't fit under the head (I have around 1.5mm max play) then it will leave the rest of the screw stuck in the hole and I'd have to battle trying to get it out with molegrips. Also there's a metal wedge that appears to be glued with some type of foam that prevents you from getting to the female bit the screw goes into, however I did manage to get some molegrips attached but even giving it full force the screw is well and truly threaded
