Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Heated Windscreen Issues

Hello Guys I have a 2011 Ford Focus Titanium MK3 and I am having repeated problems with my Quick Clear Windscreen. I bought the car in September 2014, and shortly after collecting it, I discovered a fault so I got the garage to fix it under warranty and they replaced the screen. 11 months later, a similar fault developed so I contacted the company who fitted it, and they then came and replaced the windscreen again for me. It has now been 9 or 10 months and my heated windscreen has started doing this. I am starting to wonder, there is either 1 of 2 things happening here. 1. They are using cheap quality windscreens. 2. I have an electrical problem that is re-occuring. From the pictures, what do you guys think?
  2. So Ive had my fiesta zetec s since january and I've had no problems with it whatsoever until about a month ago, it appears that the bluetooth is turned off in the car, yet when i select and press 'yes' to turn it back on, it still seems to be off. When i go through the 'aux' (BT) connection it tells me to search for sync and enter the code, yet sync does not appear on my phone, and when i check back to see if the bluetooth is tuned on, there is still no tick next to the box? Ive tried doing a master reset and the bluetooth still will just not turn on - I cant stand listening to Capital and smooth FM any longer! Ive got no idea what the problem here is, can anyone help me with this to save me time going to my local branch???
  3. Hi everyone, I am hoping someone can help... I normally have the radio info displayed on my dash, so it obviously displays track information, station names etc. I had a CD in the tonight which was on Track 1 when I pressed eject. The radio came on, but my dash still said 'Track 1'. I turned the radio off and it stayed displaying 'Track 1'. I turned the car off and back on again and now it doesn't show anything on the dash screen in regards to the radio. I have turned the setting off and on again for displaying radio information, so I am a little confused at the problem. Any help would be great! Thanks, Tom
  4. Hi guys, this is my first time posting so I hope I'm posting this in the correct place. I have recently bought myself a 2009 1.4 Diesel Ford Fiesta Titanium. Ever since I bought it, it always beeps about ten times (as you can hear in the video, link below) when the ignition is switched on, but doesn't do this at any other time during a journey. It is only after speaking to one of my friends who has a fiesta that I found out that this isn't normal. No warning lights show and everything feels like it is working fine, there is nothing in the manual/handbook about any beeps or what they mean. I'm just a bit concerned that it could be something serious. Does anybody know what this means, or what is causing it? Here is a link to a video of my car showing the problem: Thanks in advance, Sam
