Does anybody know what the two purple iwres are that come off the back off the radio in my fiesta?

I took it out and when ive tried to put it back in it wont work.

    yea they are speaker wires , on the right hand sire they light blue and white and on the left they are purple with a white stripe and a light blue with a white stripe. stupid tards why did they do such a thing ?
