REGULATOR window MECHANISM (PROBLEM)

4 posts in this topic

Can some smart soul plz help me

Can i fit a MK2 Window Regulator (mechanism) to a MK1 Ford Focus 2003?

 Will it fix. .

So i own a 2003 Ford Focus Zetec Petrol, old shape...

The trouble im having, is that Front electric window has stopped working. So I thought I would buy a replacement Window Regulator (mechanism) from Ebay.

But looking at the auction in closer detail, (after i Won) i happened to see i was biddin for "Mrk2 Window Regulator for 12/2003 - 12/2005 model.

it probably will not fit to be honest. I am not 100% though

you could always resell the item on ebay

is the old one dead? does it click when you try and unwind the window?

Quote the Finis number to a Ford dealer and they can cross refrence the part number to the mk1 and mk2, and cant see there being any differnce as long as the one you brought was for the same style, ie 3 or 5 door

have just doubled checked your pic and you have a mk2 as the indicators are located in the headlight and not on the bumber so should be the same
