Hey guys, Im kinda confused. I need to get some rear wheel bearings for my car, Ive looked everywhere and some places are sayin my car is mk5 and some are saying its mk6. Its a 2004 model 1.4i 16v - I think its an mk6 am i right?

Also, anybody know any place which sell cheap but good quality bearings, I just got quoted like £229 from a garage for them and fitting which is a clear rip off.

anybody who can speedy reply will be an diamond lol

cheers rob

Problem is that since Ford don't refer to Fiestas by MK numbers, there are several views on this:

Mks 1 - 4 are generally accepted (although not totally)

Mk 5 is either the facelift Mk4 or the early 2000's car you have

Mk6 is either the car you have or possibly the latest

Mk7 is either the facelift of the car you have or the latest car

Mk8 is the latest car if your refer to the facelift of the previous generation as a Mk7 (like most people on eBay seem to)

Confused? You should be. I think you can't go tooo wrong if you look for bits for a Mk6 or even better, by year.
