Michael P
About time i showed you all some progress!! I have a full progress thread on another forum i use, if anyone is interested in seeing it all i may copy and paste it over onto this one, enjoy :) Half term brings with it progress, so i'm fixing up where i did wrong with the spraying. This is what it looked like at the start of the day: It had been sprayed once before but i stopped (for some reason) and it went rusty again. I had my trusty steed to guide me through it all, i couldn't have done it without her: I sanded down where the rust was apparent, this didn't take too long to do: Then out comes the filler, dead good stuff it is. Can't remember what it's called though!!: I also went about getting all the remaining spray paint from my last jaunt off the car. I read last night somewhere on here that 1200 sandpaper can improve the paint, so i risked it and it works! this is before and after:
Michael P
After a few more waxes and polishes it will look even better. I also did the same on the panel next to the door and started on the bonnet: At this point, i prepped it up for spraying with primer: and then sprayed it. Trusty steed needed a walk to get over her excitement of the car being sprayed: Didn't get a picture of when it was sprayed (it was grey, thats about it) but tomorrow i will get some moondust silver paint and it will look alot better. :)

Michael P
A little bit more: Wing is complete, not the best job but it will do, i'm sure many would hate it on their own car but it looks OK!Before: After: Also i've finished the bonnet. Although it doesn't look perfect, once it gets polished a few more times and hopefully machine polished eventually, it will look better. It's nice it being all one colour again!! Before: After: No one's showing much love to M11HKL but it's nice to document it all somewhere! :D

Michael P
Always nice to do your own work. Gives you more pleasure i feel :D Very good job you have made aswell Cheers! I was going to get it done professionally, but my financial situation is pretty poor at the moment so £7 for it wasn't too bad!! (The Mac is completely forgotten about  ) Hopefully that will prevent it from becoming rusty again. Just had to buy a new front tyre after seeing the appauling condition it was in, going to get the opposite side done as well so there are two running at the same time, yet more 'kin money!!
