I am going to go for a long shot, But I am thinking of replacing the Fuel Sender Unit on my Mark 2. Can anyone tell me

1) How do I get to it, is it accessible underneath the back seats, or does any of the underside need removing?

2) How much is a genuine new FSU?

3) How much is a standard FSU?

4) Is it easy enough to do it myself? or Should I go to Ford? I have read the theory on it and it seems straightforward but If Anyone has had any experience...

Thanks, I didn't realise that the gasket needed changing as well, to be honest I have never changed one of these but I think it may be cheaper than taking it to ford.

Is that a genuine Ford Part price?

not sure if your advertising the FPC, or you work there, or what, but do you have any advice on where to find the FSU on the vehicle? and/or any advice on changing it?

its my company.... the sender is attached to the fuel pump located in the TOP of the tank on the opposite side to the filler neck, would imagine the tank may need dropping but first pull your back seat up and see if you can see it
