Michael P
I'm getting some new alloys on Sunday and i'm umming and arring about what colour to spray them, my car is silver so bear that in mind. Thanks!
Graeme Smurf
Keep it simple and silver!
AndrewL
I think a bit of classic silver will do the job. If it was a three door and modified maybe black, but as it is I reckon some smart silver alloys would suit your car best. :)
Michael P
Am i the only one who would think it's boring?!
Nug878
I've seen alloys that are silver with black painted on the insides. Maybe they will look good and be a bit less boring. :)
Michael P
Hmm, that would take effort though! My idea is spraying them Ford's Sea Gray, just seeing whether others had better ideas!
Gazjs
I think they would look good silver as in the pic you put up. Cant really think of any other Maybe try a different colour to highlight the "speedline" on the spoke?
Michael P
highlighting the Sppedline indent would be too much faff, only so much i can do with a spray can!! The silver looks nice, but every other factory car has silver wheels (more or less) When i did Sea Gray on my other alloys it looked dead good, as this picture shows:
paulworthing
Not sure I would go this dark but I do like the 'titanium' colour on alloys - might get mine done when pennies permit (after Mountune has had a go with it of course!) What is this titainium colour you speak of? When you see the colour in person, its nice. Not quite black, but its not too light and its still noticable. And I have a full can of sea gray in the garage that needs using at some point!!
calmcdermott
I'd say the Sea Grey Mike, it's a gorgeous colour and it'l be the free option for you lol! :D

aph1101
You know what I think Mike!! Sea grey all the way :) Brilliant choice of colour even if I do say so myself
donskoops
im thinking that you should stay with the silver there are far too mny black rims out there now, i used to be a big fan of them until the boy racer sceen got hold of them (far too many tsw venoms painted Black) and overloaded the market, they used be something you never saw very often. but the choice is yours in the end. look forward to seeing some pics when your done. Michael P
a few samples with the inner wheel sprayed too :) I LOVE the middle one!! Thats what i'm trying to aim for. IF you have time, could you do it darker (like the picture i posted) just to get an idea, i'd really appreciate that! You know what I think Mike!! Sea grey all the way :) Brilliant choice of colour even if I do say so myself I know what you think Alex!! I haven't a clue why you like it so much.... im thinking that you should stay with the silver there are far too mny black rims out there now, i used to be a big fan of them until the boy racer sceen got hold of them (far too many tsw venoms painted Black) and overloaded the market, they used be something you never saw very often. but the choice is yours in the end. look forward to seeing some pics when your done. I don't want to spray them black, you might as well have steels!! Dark grey is as dark as i'd go, still being able to see the actual alloy!! I'm going to see what Halfords have got. I'm quite tempted by Toyota's gray, that's quite light.
donskoops
i didnt mean paint them black lol unless you go that anthracite colour it have that dark grey colour your looking for and because of the paint type it creates its own shaddows that in turn creates a range of grey colours on the wheels

Michael P
Sea Grey it is! I was umming and arring for a while in the spray can aisle of Halfords, but opted for Sea Grey which was what i was going to do my previous alloys in. They looked sooo good. Regretted getting rid of them until these came along! Thank you pot hole :)

Michael P
Twas a KA/escort alloy I loved the colour and those wheels! If all goes well on Sunday, i aim to have them fitted two weeks later. Hopefully the tyres will be OK, or at least 2 of them will be. If not, then it will be a month :(

At least in a few weeks time there will be less grit and crap lying about on the roads to cause them damage.
