i have bought a indicator stalk with the info button but i do not have the haynes man lol so just wondering how to go on and take the old one out and the new one back in

If its anything like the Escorts are, its just undo the cowling, one screw, they pull out, unplug them and replace.

will i need to disconnect the battery ?

have u got the display lcd in the tacho on the dash to display this info?

have had a look and i can see the mpg and cruise icons are there, so hopefully the indicator will work. i thought that when working on any switches on a car you would have to disconnect the battery?

if the switches dont operate when the ignition is off as in this case i would say u are ok to do this without disconnecting the battery

have you any idea how i take the casing round the steering wheel off i havnt been able to buy a haynes manual yet cheers

hello have you any idea how you take the casing off the steering wheel havnt got a clue and havnt got a haynes manual either

there are screws on the underside of the column csing and it should come off in 2 halves. take ure time putting it back on incase u end up with a squeeking noise when u turn the wheel after uve finished

hi bought a ghia indicator stalk with the info button on, installed it and doesnt work on my model the lx 52 reg

anyone want to buy a indicator stalk for 13
2.50 postage ??????????????????????????
