aph1101
Wow Dan!!! That's quite the collection :o You surely don't use it all, do you?
DanGull
I use most of it in each detail actually - obviously I alternate some products - especially and waxes and sealants but everything has at least one coat taken out of it (except for the BOS - it's being saved for perfect weather in the summer). I actually sold quite a lot of stuff recently as well.

You have, after all, taught me pretty much everything I know about detailing :) Still can't quite believe you spent £150 on BoS....nutter :P
DanGull
Technically - it was a present, from someone with more money than sense - and they demanded an application on their (rather nice) car when they gave it to me
Focus_ST-3
Thats some collection Dan! I bet your car is in mint condition My collection is in the region of about £100. I have every Autoglym product (which I won in an Autocar competition B) ) , Meguiars clay kit, lambswool mit and microfibre cloths.

DanGull
I'm not too impressed actually Zetec-X - the state of my paint is not at all perfect. I didn't have time to get the polisher out today, but it needs to come out soon. Have you used Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine then? I think it's the only one I don't have. I didn't have time to get the polisher out today, but it needs to come out soon. Have you used Autoglym Ultra Deep Shine then? I think it's the only one I don't have. Due to the high mileage I do and general lack of time, my paintwork is a bit of a mess at the moment as well. I have only used "extra gloss protection" on the Fiesta. I plan on using the ultra deep shine in the summer, but I dont want to damage the paintwork by polishing it. On a side note, does anybody else with a mk7 find their sideskirts have a "hazy" appearance due to people's feet rubbing against them getting in and out the car? What is the best way to correct the paintwork?
DanGull
I should add that I'm not that bad - check THIS out... Now that is a wax collection - bearing in mind that Mystery is £350, Crystal Rock is £550 and Divine is £1600 per pot.
DanGull
I would say that your 'haze' is paint marring - you can probably correct that with Autoglym SRP and a little pressure. Dodo Lime Prime would also do it.
