Alan
Hello! The brakes on my 2000 Focus ghia estate (all disc-brakes) went from being superbly sharp to quite soggy almost overnight a few months ago. It doesn't pull one-way and doesn't seem to be losing brake fluid so I'm assuming this a master cylinder type problem, but I'm fairly clueless. Can anyone suggest things that I should check to diagnose this? All advice appreciated! --Alan

mjt
When you say 'soggy' do you mean that you have to use more pressure on the pedal? If so it could be a servo problem, possibly a leak in the vacuum pipe or it's connections.
