L S Auto Repairs Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 yes come fault, when fords are manufactured they spray the inner door skins with was oil and this runs down the door and drys blocking up the drain holes in the bottom of the door. this allows water to collect in the bottom of thr door and swash around. solution is get a thin screw driver or piece of wire coat hanger and open the door with the fault, at the bottom at the door where the inner and outer door skins meet there will be gaps in the join thats the drain holes put the wire in there and wiggle clearing the holes when you do this the water will come out.
