hit a pot hole on the way to work the other day and managed to blow the front passenger tyre off the wheel, lucky the alloy looks undamaged. seen asthough the cars only done 5,000 miles the tyre was almost brand new and didn't fancie having a different make tyre on one corner. anyway after ringing around several garages including ford, no-one seems to be able to get hold of any hankooks! surely with a car this new ford should be able to get hold of the tyres?

Managed to find one on the internet for £60 delivered but wont be here till end of this week, which means riding around on a sh*tty spare

Anyone else found these hard to come by, its the hankook ventus evo s1 (standard titanium tyre i think)

hm, they're not on blackcircles.com, they tend to have a brilliant selection, there is every other brand though!!

perhaps they have discontinued that size??

yea already checked blackcircles and every other tyre site, managed to get one on camskill.com, the size is 195/45/16

i always order my tyres from camskill, find them pretty good for prices and their delivery is always excellent.
I just recently ordered 2 new tyres from them, ordered on the monday and i had them on wednesday.

have you checked with your local garage if they will fit your own sourced tyre? some of them are a bit funny about doing it.

Considered the underdog. My mum's car is an 04 plate, 60k, has hankooks on the back and they only just need replacing now. They're the original tyres!

I'd love hankooks for my car but they're a bit too dear for my budget!

i had them on the back of the focus £65 a corner...never again i might add. only lasted about 28k and not the most wonderful tyre when it comes to grip.
the best tyres ive found for my car/budget are vredestein hi-tracs. work out at about £62 a corner fitted

I have a ZS, so I guess not. I was worried that the dealer may have swapped them, but after researching it seems like Hankook are a Ford supplier.
